There are terrible traits many on the right possess, the worst is political apathy, and a weird ability to look at the events unfolding around them from a detached perspective, as if it is happening to others, not to themselves.
They, in many cases, accurately narrate the situation as if being an unaffected bystander.
The activist right winger is feared and shunned, is ridiculed for daring to stick his head above the parapet, because as they will explain, "it achieves nothing"
Of course doing nothing but narrate as if from the sidelines, fixes all.
They look for a saviour, and when one appears, they critically examine his every detail, his speech, his tie, his personal relationships, whatever they can find, as a reason to distance themselves from the activism of that freedom fighter, as they did with Trump.
And now in his demise, they pompously critique his performance.....and distance themselves further from him.
Truly pathetic, and one can only come to the conclusion, it's born out of cowardice.
What other reason could there be?
Well he is gone, and in a few days the Chinese officially rule the United States of America.
The hell that is coming is going to be devastating to say the least, and we now must look to the right wingers to fight this themselves, for there is no saviour left.
Good luck with that, they'll tell me, from the sidelines, accurately narrating the situation, as if being an unaffected bystander.
