In a word, a Government Subsidy business.
As far as I know Lord Howe Island is the most Eastern 'province' of Australia.
Imagine covering that with Australian Gubmint subsidised CCP solar panels and advertising that "WE GOT THE FIRST SUN POWER IN AUSTRALIA".
It would of course be entirely useless but think of the subsidies!
