Re: Road left in bypass mode
The Editor The Cairns Post
Recently, Transport Minister Bart Mellish said, “Micro stress fractures found in the (Kuranda) bridge’s steel shortly after its construction in the 1960s meant that its lifespan was always limited,” (Troubled bridge over Barron waters, 12/07).
The ALP and LNP have known for about 60 years that it would need early replacement, but neither planned to do so.
Now we see the ALP trying to shift some blame over to the federal government, particularly the Liberal-Nationals despite Labor holding office for over two years. Nobody’s falling for that.
Mellish also said, “You can see by the traffic going past us, this isn’t just a local road. This is a road that is crucial to the entire region,” (Road left in bypass mode, 26/07).
I tried to tell them that in 1999, but they wouldn’t believe me. I then proved it with a traffic count.
They tried to disprove my count but found it to be accurate within one percent - but they still ignored the communities west of the range and failed to plan to return our fair share of our money to us.
This election everyone in FNQ should consider putting the ALP and LNP where they put us – last.

Talk about the poster case for bureaucratic and political in-action.
There is only 1 question to answer after 60 years... when do works commence?

Re: Jasper’s failings revealed in BoM-shell report
The Editor The Cairns Post
If you’ve seen Queensland Senators Malcolm Roberts and Gerard Rennick question BoM officials in Estimates, you’ll know how they never admit to being wrong and when they're inescapably wrong it’s someone or something else’s fault, (Jasper’s failings revealed in BoM-shell report, 26/07).
BoM’s Jasper failures were self-evident to every FNQ resident, so it’s very revealing that they’re dodging responsibility instead of admitting to their errors and reviewing their processes to ensure they do better next time.
Sadly, BoM has been infiltrated and subverted by left-wing activists who believe in a CO2-warming process that simply doesn’t exist – which is why their computer algorithms do a much poorer job of forecasting than their human intelligence-only process of the pre-computer era.
Keep BoM’s Jasper failures in mind when they’re trying to scare you about “catastrophic man-made global warming.”

Re: $10 cap for child care
The Editor The Cairns Post
Government policies over the last three generations have driven women out of their traditional roles as mothers working full-time, (24/7-365), to raise and educate the next generation.
Now women are expected to be in the full-time workforce earning money to help pay for their family’s basics which men’s wages no longer cover as they did in the 1950s.
The government finds huge advantages in this; they doubled the number of people they can harvest taxes from and they get to mould the minds of impressionable young children in childcare centres and schools, ($10 cap for child care, 26/07).
That’s a win for governments and a loss for women and children.
Is society better for the government’s interventions of the last 74 years? Arguably not: people are dumber, ruder, angrier, and poorer now.
Big governments have always turned into the enemy of the common people, something that will become obvious to the dumbest amongst us over the next two decades.

Slavery comes in many guises and the marxist feminists have certainly sold women and children into slavery to The State.

Re: Malnourished in aged care
The Editor The Cairns Post
“Forty per cent of people living in residential care are malnourished, Australian research has found,” (Malnourished in aged care, 26/07).
A society that kills its unborn children and allows its senior citizens to slowly starve is a society in terminal decline.
If we don’t turn these types of evil around soon it will be too late and what comes next will be far worse for everyone.
Go ahead and prove me wrong: I’ll wait.

Re: Six months on, victims of flood still need the basics
The Editor The Cairns Post
Proper flood analysis should measure flow by volume because height can be a misleading indicator, (Six months on, victims of flood still need the basics, 26/07).
Plenty was said about the “highest flood level ever” but nobody mentioned whether it was the largest volume ever.
It’s an important distinction, and here’s why.
Any plumber can tell you that at the same pressure more water can flow in a bigger pipe than a smaller one.
The bed of the Barron River is basically an open-topped pipe: if it’s deep it can carry more water before breaking its banks than if it’s silted up.
So why hasn’t there been a public conversation about dredging the Barron River to lower peak flood heights?
Is it to cynically blame man-made CO2-induced “climate change” at the expense of people living on the flood plain?
Will the Labor party bosses allow their representative in the Barron River electorate to comment on this?

Re: EV costs are shocking
The Editor The Cairns Post
It’s funny, in a very tragic way, watching the truth about EVs and lithium batteries slowly bubble into the media when those of us who can research independently were derided as “conspiracy theorists” for saying the same things ten years ago, (EV costs are shocking, 26/07).
EVs, solar panels, and wind towers are all intended to combat a problem that doesn’t exist – and those at the top of the decision making chain know full well that it doesn’t exist.
Central to the decision to force them on us is the full and certain knowledge that they can’t replace the hydrocarbon-fuelled transportation and electricity generation systems we currently have.
They’re not intended to work; they’re designed to fail – leaving you with strictly rationed transportation and electricity or none at all.
Do you think that will improve your life? Of course it won’t. It’s intended to dramatically shorten your life and for you to suffer until you die.
The decision-makers, who “conspiracy theorists” call globalists, want you gone from “their” planet.

Re: Biden: ‘Time to pass the torch’
The Editor The Cairns Post
AI-generated “deep fake” videos are now so realistic that most people believed a relatively healthy Joe Biden was addressing them from the White House, (Biden: ‘Time to pass the torch’, 26/07).
However, analysis showed it was AI-generated and then, laughably, the physical Biden that appeared with Jill outside the White House was inches taller than previous iterations.
The Establishment has a long history of using body doubles for public figures and latex mask technology is so advanced that even 40 years ago they easily passed as real faces.
The Establishment also has a long history of hiding the deaths of puppet leaders like Biden so the puppeteers can hang onto power.
Then, when that leader is no longer relevant and they need a distraction from something else, they’ll announce his sad passing.
Kamala Harris is also a puppet, which is why she did precisely nothing to secure the southern border the whole time she was Biden’s “border czar”.
The puppeteers, the globalists, take great delight in lying to whole populations.

And said nothing about not even being in the Capital Building during the "J6 insurrection" con even though her implied presence was used as a viscous whipping point by the J6 fraud "committee" and subsequent lawfare brought against the hapless victims of the con.

Re: Failures on the rise
The Editor The Cairns Post
“Business failures have surged to a record high as deteriorating economic conditions combined with rising operating costs and stubborn inflation force many companies to close for good,” (Failures on the rise, 26/07).
This is because of the war on the foundations of our economy that’s been waged by the Labor-Liberal UNiparty in recent decades, in lockstep with their foreign counterparts.
“‘Labor’s tax cuts have made a positive difference and the report has indicated that globally we are seeing pressures on the global economy – that is a worldwide phenomenon,’ Mr Albanese said.”
Labor’s tax cuts went virtually unnoticed as inflation skyrocketed past them, the pressures on the global economy are because all Western governments are making the same stupid decisions at the same time, and it’s a worldwide phenomenon because they’re all controlled by globalists through their massive investment funds.
Meanwhile, no globalist-controlled government ever talks about tightening its own belt or returning to the systems and practices that built the great society that’s now being destroyed – because they’re not allowed to.
The Labor-Liberal UNiparty don’t represent you or implement your will- they’re owned and operated by foreign billionaires.
