Re: Sentence to fit crime
The Editor The Cairns Post
“Judges and magistrates would still be able to slap young criminals with the ‘most appropriate’ punishment under the LNP’s plan to ensure children who commit the most heinous crimes serve adult prison time,” (Sentence to fit crime, 10/07).
In other words, nothing will change under the LNP – further supporting my assertion that the ALP and LNP are one party pretending to be two to give you the illusion of choice.

The Australian courts system and the teaching of "law" is a fantasy land.

Re: Preachers of hate preying on our young
The Editor The Cairns Post
Racism is a characteristic of the left, not of the right, (Preachers of hate preying on our young, 10/07).
Racism is borne of tribalism which is an attribute of the collectivism which lies at the heart of all left-wing belief systems.
The groups which are emerging as anti-Semitic and anti-Islamic are responding tribally to the disruptions those two groups are creating within our society.
The extreme-left controls the major media corporations and therefore we see misinformation about the political location of racist groups on a routine basis.
It’s part of the extreme-left globalists’ ongoing multinational misinformation/disinformation campaign that extends back to WWII.
Genuinely conservative people, who are called “the far-right” by the extreme-left, judge every individual on the content of their character – not their race or religion.
Extreme-left media corporations will continue to misrepresent racist groups because they cannot admit to the flaws in their ideology.

Re: Kuranda road rage
The Editor The Cairns Post
The Cairns Post’s archives will show that I’ve been campaigning for a better route to the Tablelands for 25 years, because the need for it was evident way back then, (Kuranda road rage, 10/07).
It’s rather satisfying to see Bob Katter finally backing the route I’ve been proposing for that quarter-century, but disappointing that he only does so when I run against him and his candidates in elections, (Profit in tunnel access to west, 09/07).
Bob’s not a details man, so he never mentions how a direct-route tunnel can be made to pay for itself without a toll as part of a larger project.
The ALP and LNP will never take action to solve FNQ’s problems for the reasons I outlined last week, (Tale of two bridges, 05/07).
Only by ejecting the anti-FNQ ALP-LNP UNiparty do we have any hope at all of retaining enough of the wealth FNQ produces to bring our infrastructure up to the standards SEQ enjoys.

The State of North Queensland v The State of South Queensland.
It's a big trough and fully occupied by Southerners and control freaks from all over Australia and the World.

Re: Hughenden’s power play
The Editor The Cairns Post If the point of Powerlink’s CopperString project is to connect “renewables” to the grid, then it’s just another ideologically-driven waste of our money, (Hughenden’s power play, 10/07).
“Renewables” can’t provide electricity at night or when the wind drops and they’re not “cheaper”. Night falls across the entire east coast grid area over an hour or so and wind droughts affecting that entire area can last up to four days at a time. “Renewables” must be matched by an equivalent instantly-available output from reliable generators, such as hydrocarbons or nuclear, to keep the lights on. “Renewables” can never be “cheaper” because they’re a duplicate system that must be paid for by consumers. The whole premise of “renewables” is to “save the climate” but they can’t and the “climate” doesn’t need “saving” anyway.“Renewables investors” are about the most evil people anywhere because they’re profiting from an ideological attack on our economy and the future of our nation.
