When the test for detecting crocodiles in water can provide instant results, we’ll probably learn that they’re in every FNQ body of water, (Cracking crocodile detection code is the goal, 09/07).

That’s because they’re in plague proportions.

We have a crocodile plague because a peak predator was removed from the biosphere, allowing them to breed out of control.

What creature is capable of killing and eating crocodiles, you ask? We are.

Prior to the do-gooder descendants of British settlers providing welfare and sit-down money to Australia’s indigenous people, we humans were the peak predators here.

The indigenous harvested crocodile eggs for food and knew to keep crocodile numbers down for their own safety.

In the absence of the survival imperative, the indigenous ceased routine crocodile population management.

One of the unintended consequences of the micromanaging nanny-state’s welfare “generosity” is a crocodile plague encroaching on our towns.
