Re: Blackout warning
The Editor The Cairns Post
It seems reality has started to nibble on the plump posteriors of the bureaucrats at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, (Blackout warning, 06/07).
Unlike the technologically-ignorant ideologically-driven activists embedded in the Australian Energy Market Commission, the ACCC can see the stark and obvious reality that “renewables” can’t run an electricity grid.
Your options for reliable and affordable energy are nuclear or hydrocarbons (coal, oil, gas). Pick one and learn to love it because your life literally depends on it.
If you think I’m exaggerating, try going a week without water. Let me know if you survive.

NET ZERO = ZERO ENERGY.
That's the goal.

Re: Right to lawfully kill home invaders
The Editor The Cairns Post
Your Queensland government took away your ancient right to self-defence without you ever voting for that, (Right to lawfully kill home invaders, 06/07).
It empowered criminals to get “street cred” by invading your home and stealing your valuables and your car by largely removing the consequences for crime.
It shows little interest in punishing those criminals who are caught, giving them a slap on the wrist if they’re below an arbitrary age.
It explicitly admits it doesn’t feel obligated to defend you from the criminals it empowered.
In effect, the government has abandoned you to the criminals it tacitly permits to run wild in our communities.
If we have a Castle Law, we won’t be “murdering” home invaders, we’ll merely be swiftly applying the justice the government is failing to deliver.
Home invaders will need to decide if they value our stuff and their chance at social media street cred above their own lives.
The two US examples cited of home defence going wrong are extreme outliers; there’s tens of thousands of cases per year where it’s used correctly.
There’s also tens of thousands of cases per year of innocent lives being saved from the worst criminals, including mass murderers, by lawfully armed citizens.
Anti-gun alarmists in Australia love to point to high gun deaths in the US, but when you remove the stats from Democrat-run gun-free cities the rate is lower than Australia’s.
As to the legal opinions that Australians can already use guns in home defence, I have to wonder what they’re smoking.
Maybe if you have several million lazy dollars to pay lawyers to defend you from the government you might get away with that, but if you’re a legal gun owner don’t even think about it.

As far as I'm concerned we can defund the police and replace it with an Armed and Local Militia led by a locally appointed Sheriff with a locally appointed judge that follows Common Law.
Political Law is anti-civilization.

Re: Keir we go
The Editor The Cairns Post
Well, we can stick a fork in the UK; it’s done, (Keir we go, 06/07).
Brainwashed Brits have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire in swapping the slow-moving Tory wing of their UNiparty for the faster Labour wing.
Their slide into socialism is now going to accelerate beyond belief and the UK will soon be exactly as described in George Orwell’s “1984”.
We must never again squander the lives and wealth of Australia in defending the UK as we did in WWI and WWII because they are no longer the people we descended from and they are the authors of their own misfortune.

And you can tear up AUKUS and join BRICS with the other ASEAN countries.
Don't like some of the other BRICS countries? Fine, then get out of the so called United Nations and ALL its ancillary organizations.
But the Keir Sturmer victory shows what first past the post can give you.

Re: Lawlessness must be met with the full force of law
The Editor The Cairns Post
The effortless breach of Parliament House security by activists supporting a foreign war is very suspicious, (Lawlessness must be met with the full force of law, 06/07).
Those of us who analyse conspiracies compare last week’s lax response by security to the draconian response when peaceful pro-freedom protesters lawfully assembled there in 2022.
Cheese and chalk: the law-breaking foreign activists got kid gloves; the law-abiding Australian patriots got fried with a directed energy weapon.
Then there’s the obvious effort to divide Australians by race with the Voice campaign and the ongoing land grabs disguised as “native title”.
What does that do other than breed resentment towards a racial group who had achieved equality by the 1960s?
It makes sense only if the government’s mission is to divide Australians by race and religion.
Why divide us? It makes us easier to conquer. That’s “our” Labor-Liberal UNiparty.

Re: Tax will be a fat lot of good for healthy choices
The Editor The Cairns Post
“Our” Labor-Liberal UNiparty (the government) claims it has our best interests at heart with taxes on things they say are bad for us, (Tax will be a fat lot of good for healthy choices, 06/07).
But with the political class, it’s vital to ignore what they say and critically analyse what they do.
What did we see them do from 2020 until at least 2023?
They ignored our established national pandemic plan and joined hands with multinational corporations to mandate unprecedented, illogical, and irrational Covid responses that defied all medical precedent and destroyed the sanctity and privacy of the doctor-patient relationship.
The death toll from undiagnosed illnesses, suicide, substance abuse, and experimental “vaccine” injections gave us a non-Covid excess mortality rate that was, and still is, far greater than that of WWI or WWII – but nobody in “our” government or amongst their corporate mates wants to talk about that.
Why would they do that?
How better to thin out a population approaching pension age when they never set aside your pension funds for your retirement?
“Our” UNiparty government doesn’t care about your health – it only cares about extracting everything it can from you while you’re working and getting rid of you sooner when you’re not.
