It's almost 5 o'clock in Brisbane, and the freedom clock is under attack. Protecting free speech in Australia is more important than ever. One Nation is proposing a referendum to insert free speech into the Australian Constitution to protect it for all time. We have lodged a notice in the Australian Senate that we will bring on a debate in Parliament about the need to protect free speech in the Constitution. The clock is ticking, and we need your support in our campaign to defend free speech now more than ever. Please place this link in as many social media threads as you can to help spread our message of freedom.
Why is free speech important?
Protecting and strengthening democracy: free speech is a fundamental principle of democracy, empowering citizens to participate fully in public life and hold those in power accountable.
Defending satire and criticism: satire is a powerful tool for social and political commentary, allowing us to question, critique, and reflect on our society and government.
Encouraging community voices: by enshrining free speech in the Constitution, we protect the diversity of opinions and encourage a robust exchange of ideas in the Australian community.
Join us in pledging your support for free speech. Sign our pledge to support Senator Hanson's proposal for a referendum.
