Re: Cheap power is finished: Alinta
The Editor The Cairns Post
Great to read that Alinta’s CEO is joining the growing chorus of energy realists who understand that “renewables” cannot and will not provide “cheaper electricity”, (Cheap power is finished: Alinta, 11/04).
Australia really leaned into “renewables” in 2005 and in the 19 years since then the expected advances in technology to harvest and store sunlight and wind energy have failed to materialise.
This is precisely as energy realists forecast: realists have been proven entirely correct and “renewables” advocates have been proven completely wrong.
When will the Labor-Liberal UNiparty face reality and accept that they were sold a pup with “renewables”? Probably never as they won’t admit to stuff-ups of this magnitude.
If you want to return to the prosperity that’s based on cheap and abundant electricity, Labor and the Liberals need to go into the straight-to-landfill bin; they’re not worth recycling.
Only One Nation accepts reality and has policies to fix what Labor and the Liberals broke.

Peter,
I object that they even use the word "renewable"!
It is a deceit and a lie.
You only have to check Rafe Champion's Watch to know that wind is actually dangerous and silicone panels are an environmental disaster.

Re: Home starts at decade-low amid surging immigration
The Editor The Cairns Post
The housing crisis should properly be called the Labor Housing Crisis because Labor caused it, (Home starts at decade-low amid surging immigration, 11/04).
How many Labor voters wanted Labor to ramp up immigration to the point of making it much harder for them to rent or buy a home?
Logically, almost none – particularly since it wasn’t an announced policy prior to the 2022 election.
If most of Labor’s voters don’t want Labor’s Housing Crisis, exactly who are Labor representing?
Some say it’s multinational corporations which want cheap labour, but that doesn’t account for the numbers Labor is importing.
The only explanation is that Labor is taking orders from a foreign group of some description who want a huge mass of foreigners living here.
If you’re sick of Labor selling you out, it’s time to switch to One Nation, which has a proven track record of fighting for Australians.

Re: PM pumps up QLD for renewable revolution
The Editor The Courier Mail
Do you wonder why Labor and the Liberals remain so solidly welded to “renewables” when they have so clearly failed to meet expectations, (PM pumps up QLD for renewable revolution, 11/08)?
“Renewables” have never provided “cheaper electricity” anywhere in the world, they can’t generate reliable electricity, and they definitely can’t deliver abundant electricity.
They can’t even produce the types of energy required to replace themselves, making them the antithesis of renewable.
The push for “renewables” in Western countries is driven by those who want to dominate Western countries; it’s a move deliberately designed to weaken us.
Now ask yourself: who are the groups who want to weaken us because that’s who Labor and the Liberals are working for.
If you want cheaper electricity, you’ll need to vote for One Nation.

An excellent summary in that letter Peter.
It needs to be mailed to every constituent and not just in Cook but Australia.
