Alan Moran on energy policy And a comment on the nuclear diversion.
This is the latest piece from Alan Moran, a longstanding voice of reason in the climate and energy debate. quadrant.org.au/opinion/energy/2024/03/energy-policy-and-how-to-fix-it/WHAT TO SAY ABOUT NUCLEAR POWER?Regrettably, the Liberal enthusiasm for nuclear energy is little more than a figleaf to cover the nakedness of the energy policy after they rolled over and committed to net zero with no plan and no scientific justification.
Apart from the distant prospect of nuclear power the Opposition has the same mystical regard for wind and solar power and the same suicidal and unachievable net zero energy policy as the Government.
Certainly nuclear power should be legalized. To clarify what is realistic and what is not; the Coalition can promise to lift the ban if they win a general election and if they can get past Labor, the Greens and assorted independents in the Senate. But they can’t credibly promise to have a significant amount of nuclear power in the grid in less than a decade or two.
When will the leadership unequivocally defend coal?

Just as Hitler represented the right wing of the 'socialists' by whatever name, the thing that calls itself "The Liberal Party Of Australia" is the right wing of today's socialists.
I call it the Uni-Party of Socialism... communists the lot of them.
And the Uni-Party will do whatever they are told to do by the UN, WHO, WEF, Unions, Reserve Banks, other Uni-Party members, whatever.
They are traitors to Australia.
