To comment on the 9-0 SCOTUS decision --The US Democrats have invested a lot of emotional energy into accusing President Trump of being an “insurrectionist” because some of his supporters took an unarmed stroll through the Capitol on January 6, 2021, after being waved inside by Capitol police.
In Colorado, an activist judge even took President Trump off that state’s presidential ballot despite neither Trump nor any of the J6 tourists ever being convicted of insurrection. On Monday, in an absolutely crushing blow to the delusional Democrats, the US Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that Colorado has no power to bar Trump from the ballot and that enforcing the federal Constitution rests with the federal Congress – just as Republicans have been saying all along.
To add insult to injury for the Democrats, even the liberal SCOTUS judges couldn’t avoid that self-evident fact and their decision will hold in every other Democrat state that is trying to interfere in the coming federal election. Even Aussies that don’t follow any politics at all are seeing that the left are pure projection; what they accuse others of is what they’re actually doing. Jennifer Short Edge Hill

Re: Spike in bills causes a stir
The Editor The Cairns Post From 1955 to 2005, the cost of electricity fell in real terms as the coal-fired power station fleet grew and work practices were streamlined. Since 2005, when governments began forcing renewables into the grid, electricity prices have more than tripled in real terms, (Spike in bills causes a stir, 06/03). The Labor and Liberal parties’ ongoing closures of coal-fired power stations, while the rest of the world builds hundreds of them, forces prices up. This proves conclusively that renewables aren’t cheaper. Worse, it’s reducing the availability of electricity to the extent that Ergon’s southern sister, Energex, now uses smart meters to “reduce demand.” Energex’s “PeakSmart program” can reach into your home from Brisbane and turn your appliances down or off without your knowledge or consent. They’ve already done it 170,000 times to turn people’s air conditioning down when there’s not enough electricity to go around. That proves that renewables aren’t reliable.
Computerised devices are known to glitch, so could smart meters record higher consumption than has actually occurred?
It’s worth investigating.
The Labor and Liberal parties brought you expensive and increasingly unreliable electricity, and only One Nation has the policies to fix that.

Re: Miles in text denial furore, 06/03
The Editor The Courier Mail
In 2014, Barry O’Farrell resigned as NSW Premier because he failed to declare a gift - a bottle of wine.
Not declaring a gift isn’t all that big a deal, but O’Farrell had enough respect for his system of governance to do the right thing.
Contrast that with Premier Steve Miles’ missing text message debacle, (Miles in text denial furore, 06/03).
A text message passed between MPs as part of the business within the chamber will obviously be part of the official records and must be preserved.
If reports are correct, Miles sent the text, deleted it, and is now lying about it.
If Premier Miles had respect for our system of governance, he’d have quit by now – both the Premier’s role and as Member for Mount Coot-tha.
Labor can’t be trusted to do the right thing; they’ve reached their use-by date and it’s time to chuck them out.
