Re: New York state of crime for city’s bad apples
The Editor The Cairns Post
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s policies can’t be adapted to Cairns’ crime problem, (New York state of crime for city’s bad apples, 27/02).
That’s because the US’ governance structure is quite different to Australia’s: our local governments are constructs of state governments; they have no constitutional foundation.
Should the Labor state government adopt a “zero tolerance” approach to crime, it has the tools to implement it without involving Councils.
But this Labor government has demonstrated no interest in resolving the crimewave that its policies created.
The aspirations of mayoral candidates are moot; any concerns they raise with the Labor government will be ignored just as it ignores the Crime and Justice Action Group.
To end the crimewave Labor created, we need One Nation MPs to hold the balance of power in Brisbane.
Only One Nation has the policies to clean up Labor’s mess.

Government starts in local communities.
Locally elected mayor; Locally elected Sheriff; Locally elected Judge.
Then you create regional like minded community localities.
Then you start thinking of Statehood for that group of like minded community localities.
Queensland as constituted is a foreign country imposing their diktats on local communities.
It is the same in every so called State of Australia.

Re: Flooding adds to strain
The Editor The Cairns Post
The housing crisis is a direct result of Labor policies at the state and federal level, (Flooding adds to strain, 27/02).
Federal Labor has brought in far too many immigrants and temporary visa holders, who all compete with Australians for housing.
State Labor’s development regulations have made it too hard to develop new towns and suburbs and their supporting infrastructure, and its construction regulations have made new-build housing too expensive.
State Labor’s tenancy laws have made investment property too risky for the Mum-and-Dad investors who can provide housing more efficiently than governments can.
Labor created the housing crisis so it cannot be trusted to fix it.
If we want to return to affordable housing, the journey begins with voting Labor and its Labor-lite opposition out and giving someone else a go.

To comment on “It’s becoming even easier to be preachy and green”, 27/02 --
The entirety of the climate alarm/renewable energy industrial complex is built on computer models, (“It’s becoming even easier to be preachy and green”, 27/02).
Those computer models, as we’ve all now seen, can’t predict the weather even a week in advance (“dry El Nino”, anyone?), much less many decades ahead.
Nor can they be run backwards to recreate the known weather of the past.
They’re not suitable to form the basis of government policies that effectively control the economy. Our problem is that governments, corporations, and academic institutions have been infiltrated and subverted by a highly organised and very wealthy organisation that actively recruits narcissists and sponsors them into leadership positions.
Narcissists always presume themselves to be smarter than everyone else and any plans they have must work because of that.
They won’t consider the views of others because that would mean accepting them as equals, and they won’t consider information that challenges their beliefs.
They will implement their sponsors’ agenda relentlessly as they have no reverse gear. Until a majority of voters understand that the Teal-Green-Liberal-Labor UNiparty is jam-packed with narcissists and owned outright by foreigners who are intent on destroying the West with “green” policies, we’ll remain in the fast-lane back to feudalism.

Jennifer,
The models are 'glorified' versions of AI and we've all now seen how one sided and biased AI models are.
And the promoters will not open up the AI models programs for inspection!

To comment on “Gender pay gap culprits”, 27/02 --To claim that one sex is paid more than the other requires the use of a metric that provides an accurate basis for comparison, i.e., same job description, same hours, same responsibilities, same length of service, same qualifications, etcetera, (“Gender pay gap culprits”, 27/02). What metric was used in this case?
“The disparities are calculated by comparing median total remuneration of female and male employees in all roles at a company, taking in base salary, superannuation, overtime, bonuses, sales commissions and other nonfinancial benefits.”
Given that men are known to work much longer hours for a variety of reasons, this metric was always going to produce a disparity. So what’s the point of using a biased metric in this case? It’s “politics of division 101”.
It’s a ploy to make women believe they are being mistreated by men when no such mistreatment exists.
It’s intended to widen the divide the left have been creating for generations. So why is the left working to divide women from men?
Because the family is the most powerful unit in human society and forms the base for resistance to tyrannical governments.
Leftist governments want women to be dependent on them.
With dependency, they gain control.
That’s about as evil and anti-human as it’s possible to be. Jennifer Short Edge Hill

To comment on “Salon de refuse sew haute”, 27/02 --How would a wealthy and influential group of conspirators implement a very long-term plan to destroy a society in order to gain control over it?
It would systematically undermine and weaken all the pillars that support that society, right?
Here’s a short list of things they might do to achieve that:- Make architecture oppressive. Make art ugly. Make fashion disgusting, (“Salon de refuse sew haute”, 27/02). Make porn free. Make normal weather scary. Make vital energy sources seem dangerous. Make food toxic. Make fathers optional. Make men and women compete against each other. Make children hate their ancestors. Make different races hate each other. Make people distrust their governments. Make money worthless. Make politicians rich. But none of that’s happening, right? There’s no global conspiracy of super-rich psychopaths. Nothing to see here: move along.Jennifer Short Edge Hill
