Re: Note to courts: locked-up criminals can’t re-offend
The Editor The Cairns Post
Under our (modified) Westminster system of governance, Queensland’s courts can only administer laws crafted by politicians, (Note to courts: locked-up criminals can’t re-offend, 10/02).
For 29 of the last 34 years, those politicians have been from Labor. Labor has set the rules that put the revolving door on courts for recidivist youth offenders.
The viral clip of Premier Miles giggling when asked about youth crime at the Queensland Media Club indicates that Labor thinks youth crime is a joke.
How can we trust Labor to take crime as seriously as we do when their leader thinks it’s funny?
One Nation is the only party absolutely dedicated to protecting human rights and democratic principles in Queensland, and we believe the people should be able set the policy agenda: not just the government, activists and the media.
A One Nation Queensland government will take youth crime seriously and will be listening to your views on how best to protect you from Labor’s youth crime wave.

Peter,
I've watched that clip a couple of times and if he's not on drugs of some description then God help Queenslanders.
Congratulations to you for being able to sign your letters with "One Nation’s candidate for Cook".
One Nation could make devastating electoral advertisements from Miles' giggling response. Get a copy of his asinine response before it's memory holed.
