Re: Power’s back after 50 days
The Editor The Cairns Post
Again, we read the claim that Jasper was “the wettest cyclone in Australian history,” (Power’s back after 50 days, 08/02).
How can those behind this assertion know how wet cyclones that crossed in remote areas that lack recording stations were?
How can they know how wet cyclones before the modern era were? What’s their definition of Australian history? 60,000 years or 236 years?
This is Climate Alarmism 101: make a sweeping assertion without evidence or qualification and hope people are frightened into accepting more government control.
Climate alarmism has been used by the grifters against the trusting since the tribal shaman of ancient times.
The only difference is these days the shamans sit in university offices and owe allegiance to the globalists at the UN.

Re: Call to ‘help stop a genocide’
The Editor The Cairns Post
Anybody who wants to “restore funding to (any) United Nations agency” is the enemy of people everywhere, (Call to ‘help stop a genocide’, 08/02).
The claimed reason for establishing the UN was to “end wars.” There has been an unbroken series of wars ever since.
The UN globalists have been trying to garner support for Palestine from the indigenous people in every nation, which is why “the protesters took part in a smoking ceremony.”
But that’s just more UN-driven politics of division: the archaeological evidence is that the descendants of Jacob (Israel) were indigenous to that area; the Palestinians migrated there later.
The sign that read “a vote for Albanese is a vote for (Joe) Biden and his cronies” is hilariously wrong: Biden is a meat-puppet; he has no “cronies,” he was installed to take the fall for the UN’s destruction of the US.
Albanese was installed to demoralise the Australian population, to try to make us believe that domestic government has failed so we must be “rescued” by the UN’s global government.
Does anyone seriously think he was the best leadership candidate available, even in Labor’s incestuous gene pool?
The events in Israel are being created by globalists, the news feeds are controlled by globalists, and the turmoil benefits only globalists.
Those events are absolutely none of Australia’s business, we shouldn’t be “supporting” either side, or sending any money of military equipment there.
While the easily-led are focused on the Middle-east, the UN are busily destroying our energy systems, our health services, our food supply, and our social cohesion.
UN-exit now!

Re: Setback for plain ‘Citizen Trump’
The Editor The Cairns Post
Lol! Gotta love leftie own-goals. If Donald Trump doesn’t have presidential immunity then no former president does, (Setback for plain ‘Citizen Trump’, 08/02).
Imagine the consequences for, say, Barack Obama, who used military drones to kill more innocent children than any other Nobel Peace Prize winner in history.
The left’s obsession with preventing Trump’s re-election will, like most left-wing obsessions, have unintended consequences. I’m stocking up on popcorn.

Re: Giggles Miles
The Editor The Cairns Post
Nobody should be surprised by Premier Steven “Giggle” Miles snickering when a journalist at the Queensland Media Club asked him about the absence of any reference to youth crime in his speech.
Giggles’ gleeful reaction was probably because he had a sense of achievement: what was the point of unwinding consequences for crime other than to create crime waves and fear in the community?
Labor’s actions don’t reflect any intention of uniting or strengthening the Queensland community; they reveal a determined effort to create terror, division, and animosity.
