Re: Covid probe slammed
The Editor The Cairns Post Neither the Labor nor Liberal parties were ever going to support a Royal Commission into Covid that could expose the truth, (Covid probe slammed, 02/02). The truth would show both parties are guilty of multiple abuses of human rights which have ultimately resulted in the current extraordinary excess mortality rate. If the Labor-Liberal twins were representing your will as they’re constitutionally required to do, the Covid Royal Commission’s terms of references would be extremely broad. But the twins don’t represent you, they’re representing the will of the same foreign entities that brought you every facet of the disastrous Covid era. You’re not getting the truth about Covid until the twins are purged from our parliaments.

Re: We’re not a biased ABC
The Editor The Cairns Post
“ABC managing director David Anderson has rejected claims the taxpayer funded broadcaster is biased…”, (We’re not a biased ABC, 02/02).
O'Sullivan's First Law, says: "All organizations that are not explicitly right-wing will over time become left-wing.”
That’s because the first leftist who gets to a position with hire-and-fire delegation hires only lefties and fires only conservatives.
The ABC was captured by the left decades ago – I doubt there’s any Liberal-National voters on the payroll, much less any genuine conservatives.
It’s become a taxpayer-funded megaphone for the far-left, which is completely unacceptable.
Given the current super-abundance of free media, the fairest course of action is to just shut it down.

Re: Baldwin enters plea over movie killing
The Editor The Cairns Post
“Baldwin has repeatedly denied responsibility, insisting he did not pull the trigger on the gun, which should not have been loaded with a live round,” (Baldwin enters plea over movie killing, 02/02).
The vintage Colt .45 that was in Alec Baldwin’s hand is a single-action revolver.
“Single-action” means that the trigger has the single action of releasing the hammer; the hammer must be cocked separately.
Firing the single-action Colt .45 requires two distinct inputs from the operator: cocking the hammer and pulling the trigger.
Neither mechanism operates by itself because the Colt .45 is an inanimate object.
There can be no doubt that Baldwin operated the Colt .45 because it was in his hand.
The only question is who put a live round in it when they were prohibited on the movie’s set.

Peter,
And there's no such thing as a safety on a Colt .45.

Re: ‘Whacko’ theories Swiftly in vogue
The Editor The Cairns Post
Your article “‘Whacko’ theories Swiftly in vogue,” (02/02), is one long extreme-left ad hominem attack on about 61% of Americans.
Obviously it was foisted onto this newspaper by its left-wing American owners - but it still undermines your credibility in every other story.
After Covid and the 2020 US election, everyone can see there’s conspiracies - heck, we wouldn’t have a word for them if they didn’t exist.
So when the people who claim a man can become a woman and that a trace gas can boil oceans tell us we’re “whacko” for our well-supported opinions, we take it as evidence we’re right.
If Taylor Swift is a psyop, it’s almost certainly designed to focus Republican voters’ attention away from some more pressing issue.
My guess it’s a distraction to the Democrats’ ongoing efforts to give “undocumented migrants” the right to vote before the 2024 Presidential election.

Re: How the reef will remain a wonder
The Editor The Courier Mail
It’s tragic the way phrases such as “the government has reported” and “a new study suggests” have come to preface every bit of political agitprop, (How the reef will remain a wonder, 02/02).
It undermines the remnant credibility of both governments and mainstream science.
$1.2bn wasn’t “invested” in the Reef; it was squandered, and some of us want an audit to see if it was laundered back to political parties.
“140,000 tonnes of sediment and 550,000 kilograms of dissolved inorganic nitrogen” weren’t “prevented from entering the reef” by anything governments did – they can’t get to the Reef due to prevailing winds and currents.
Activists get away with making this claim because they conflate the Reef with “the Reef lagoon,” which is the euphemistic name for the vast stretch of water between the coast and the Reef.
Taxpayers would have been much better off if the $2.2bn wasted on a non-problem in the name of the Reef had been spent on hospitals and ambulances instead.

Peter,
The entire grants process needs taking away from their communist bureaucrats, academics and voodoo scientists and just not spent at all.
If it is so important let them work out the funding for themselves through a Voodoo Science Fund Meee system.
I'd rather pay science fiction authors and read their legitimate fantasies rather than the anti-civilization crap spewed out of so called "universities".

Re: Qld baby deaths a national disgrace
The Editor The Courier Mail
“The year 2022 stands out as an “annus horribilis” in maternity services…”, (Qld baby deaths a national disgrace, 02/02).
Hmm, 2022 eh? What controversial “mandatory” treatment were pregnant women coerced into receiving around then?
Obviously we can’t talk about that here, right? The censorship has to be total or else the truth may be revealed.

Re: Changing policy won’t help cost of living
The Editor The Daily Telegraph
Yeah, yeah, Sussan Ley; we know Albo’s a liar, (Changing policy won’t help cost of living, 02/02). In fact we know all politicians are liars.
Your Liberal party is as much to blame for the cost-of-living crisis as Labor, possibly more so.
The Liberals passed all the legislation to support the climate hoax that drove electricity costs through the roof; Labor just ramped it up.
Before Covid, the Liberals were bringing in too many immigrants, which caused the housing shortage; Labor just ramped it up.
The federal Liberals marched in lockstep with state Labor and unelected foreigners to implement the tyrannical Covid responses, which caused the inflation that resulted in the interest rate rises.
People can increasingly see that the Liberal and Labor parties are one organisation pretending to be two to give us the illusion of choice when we vote.
Things will only improve for us when we get both of you out of our parliaments.

Re: Accused UN terror agency could get our cash again
The Editor The Daily Telegraph
All around the world, people are waking up that the UN and its many offshoots are anti-humanist organisations, (Accused UN terror agency could get our cash again, 02/02).
The UN’s climate alarm HQ, the IPCC, has never got a climate prediction right but governments acting on its advice have nearly bankrupted us.
The UN’s health alarm HQ, the WHO, gave Covid advice that killed millions and crippled national economies.
At this point, any Australian politician who still supports the UN should be regarded with deep suspicion and voted out as soon as possible.

They should be arrested as traitors.
Those involved in the genocidal mass murder of Australians that continues on, and includes children, unborn babies, and people of all ages, must be brought to trial and if found guilty, and we have plenty of evidence, such as for somebody like Greg Hunt, execution should be considered for punishment. This must never happen again.
