Re: Biden is ready to punish Tehran
The Editor The Cairns Post
Given that no countries honour non-proliferation agreements and that Iran is backed by Russia, anyone who believes Iran doesn’t have nukes is delusional, (Biden is ready to punish Tehran, 01/02).
The military-industrial complex puppeteers operating the shambling-hulk marionette called Joe Biden want war with Russia.
They’ve failed, so far, to kick it off using Ukraine as proxy, so Iran is their next option.
They don’t care what the American people want, they only want power and profit and they’re happy for America’s innocent sons and daughters to be killed for that.
They don’t care that the conflict will probably go nuclear; they view a reduction of the innocent population as a desirable outcome.
When you understand that they want mass death, that you are the carbon they want to reduce, it all makes perfect sense.

Peter,
Not forgetting that 'the Bidenites' resumed the funding to both Hamas and Iran and in the case of Iran, removed sanctions, that Trump had either stopped or opposed.
And also not forgetting that it is the foul swamp creatures of the EU and specifically Germany and France that has supplied the bulk of Iran's equipment enabling their production of nuclear grade uranium.

Re: Fears Townsville not ready for big cyclone
The Editor The Townsville Bulletin
“Townsville is unprepared if stronger cyclones than Kirrily were to devastate the community, according to two local political candidates,” (Fears Townsville not ready for big cyclone, 01/02).
The loudest of climate alarm narratives is that we “must” build energy generation systems that are weather-dependent and very vulnerable to weather extremes.
However, preparing for weather that we experienced before “global warming” was invented is never discussed.
Doesn’t anyone remember TC Althea on Christmas Eve in 1971? The big scare back then was “the coming ice age,” so “carbon warming” can’t be blamed for that.
Outside the hard left, very few people believe in “man-made climate change” because of all the failed predictions – “rising seas” being the most obvious.
Imagine how much better off we’d be if we simply voted all alarmist politicians out and went back to cheap energy so we could invest in preparing for the weather of the past.

Imagine how much better we would be if we had regional government responsible for its own well being and accountable to local people rather than the unaccountable 'corporate' faceless sham we have with so called State Government.

Re: Shoppers cutting back on fruit, veg
The Editor The Cairns Post
“(Greens Senator Nick) McKim said Australia needed to ‘smash’ the supermarket duopoly and ‘get prices down’,” (Shoppers cutting back on fruit, veg, 01/02).
Wow: this is the intellectual inconsistency of the disingenuous Greens on full public display.
It’s the Greens who are the biggest supporters of corporatism, of the combination of Big Government and Big Business, to force their desired outcomes onto ordinary people.
It’s the Greens, whose rump voters are needed to keep Labor in power, who have driven all the regulatory regimes that have blown out our cost of living.
Everything from expensive electricity to excessive immigration has the Greens' fingerprints on it.
If the Greens were genuine they’d advocate for deregulation in every sector and for much smaller government because that’s what’s been proven to improve living standards.
The Greens are either devious liars or profoundly stupid: pick one.

Re: Longest wait for ambos in a decade
The Editor The Courier Mail
Queensland Labor policies are damaging Queenslanders in every sector, but the failing ambulance service is simply inexcusable, (Longest wait for ambos in a decade, 01/02).
When you’re ill enough to require an ambulance, you want it there quickly – but Labor has delivered longer wait times.
It’s just incredible that Labor voters think that Labor can “solve climate change” when they can’t even maintain an effective ambulance service.
Obviously we can’t discuss why demand for ambulances is spiking because that would expose Labor’s culpability in an issue that is heavily censored.
The sooner we get Labor and their LNP twins out of our parliaments and elect people who live in the real world the better off we’ll be.

Peter,
And the first order of business of such a parliament should be the dismantling of the State 'government' apparatus and creation of Regional States.

Re: Another big blow
The Editor The Cairns Post
The 32-tonne wind turbine loads hauled up the Palmerston highway probably didn’t damage the road, (Another big blow, 01/02).
Those would’ve been the individual blades and they weighed less than the B-double transports the road was designed to accommodate.
What would’ve fractured the foundations of the highway were the 220-tonne nacelles, the assembly at the top of the pylons to which the blades are fitted.
The road was not designed for such extreme loads.
As obvious as the responsibility for the damage is, there’s net zero chance that the industrial wind-energy installation developers will be required to pay compensation.
That’s not how the renewables scam works; it’s designed to funnel our money to them – not theirs to us.
