Re: Labor accused of breaking promise on stage 3 tax cuts
The Editor The Cairns Post
Nobody should be surprised Albo broke his election promise on tax cuts, (Labor accused of breaking promise on stage 3 tax cuts, 24/12).
He also promised a Royal Commission into government Covid responses and broke that, too, which was unforgivable.
As an independent sovereign nation we can’t avoid the mistake of acting in lockstep with globalist supranational bodies like the WHO if we don’t examine what we did wrong last time.
Of course, Albo doesn’t care about his promises to us because he’s not representing us – he takes his orders from the UN-WEF globalists.

Re: What lurks beneath?
The Editor The Cairns Post
Environmentalism has been subverted by antihumanism, which is why antihumanists posing as environmentalists have engineered regulations to cause a crocodile population explosion, (What lurks beneath?, 24/12).
Everything the anti-humanist “environmentalists” do is designed to have negative consequences for people and this is creating a split in the environmental movement.
Genuine environmentalists, who understand that humans are a natural part of every landscape and that we’ve been responsible for maintaining environments for millennia are realising their movement has been subverted by antihuman activists whose efforts harm both humans and the natural world.
Wind-to-electricity industrial installations have brought the movement to a splitting point as genuine environmentalists begin to understand that the antihumanists have been using environmentalism’s credibility to demand respect they never deserved.
I expect to see genuine environmentalists exposing the deep and evil hypocrisy of their Green-left infiltrators in the next few years.

Re: Town in fear of Kirrily’s wrath
The Editor The Cairns Post
“A cyclone sucker punch is the latest blow in a horror wet season for a Cassowary Coast tourism town bunkering down ahead of yet another natural disaster, a community leader says, (Town in fear of Kirrily’s wrath, 24/01).
What a ridiculous opening sentence. What abject nonsense. Scare-porn churnalism like this is why corporate media is failing.
We live in the Wet Tropics. We regularly come under the monsoon’s influence. We get a lot of rain and a few cyclones. It’s not a “sucker punch.” It’s not a “horror.” It’s normal weather.
Newspapers aren’t read by very many people under 40 and everyone over 40 knows that this year’s weather has been quite mild compared to some years’ in the past.
Legacy media’s ongoing efforts to portray normal weather as scary and horrible, to support the globalists’ ongoing decades-old climate change fear campaign, do absolutely nothing for its credibility.

Re: Sombre cyclone warning
The Editor The Gold Coast Bulletin
“Mayor Tom Tate has warned that storm-weary Gold Coast citizens need to prepare for the possibility the city will be smashed by Tropical Cyclone Kirrily on Australia Day,” (Sombre cyclone warning, 24/01).
Mayor Tate: “We are watching the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) very closely. It appears that (cyclone Kirrily) can arrive here late Friday.”
Wait, what? The BoM cyclone track map (http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDQ65002.shtml) shows that on Australia day, Kirrily will be near Hughenden – about 1,160km from the Gold Coast.
Has Mayor Tate heard of “The Boy who Cried Wolf?” How does scaring Gold Coasters about something that’s extremely unlikely to happen benefit anyone?
This has got to be the weirdest bit of weather-related alarmism I’ve heard in ages.

Perhaps he's experiencing 'disaster envy', Peter.
He wishes he had a disaster on hand so he can present as the 'hero'.
What a wanker!

Meanwhile the massive "extreme heat wave" here was three days of temps in the high 30's and low 40's and now it's bloody cold today and cloudy...I think it's going to rain.
The problem socialist/communist types face in trying to take the west, is that we aren't as stupid as they are, and they think we are. Turning off from them is not accepting their propaganda as truth. No one is listening to them, as the Voice referendum showed them. To think they will learn from this is a humorous concept, for sure.

Re: Brisbane’s petrol prices top nation
The Editor The Courier Mail “Dr Ian Jeffreys said Brisbane motorists had endured two consecutive years of record-breaking petrol prices, largely due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine and OPEC production cuts, (Brisbane’s petrol prices top nation, 24/01). This is true on the surface but there’s a deeper underlying reason for our too-high fuel prices and that is the reality-denying, green-left Labor-Labor twins' stubborn refusal to harvest our own abundant crude oil stocks. We have hundreds of years’ worth of fuel in the Arckaringa Basin under Coober Pedy but the Labor-Liberal twins bowed to the UN-WEF globalists and made us dependent on foreign oil. In the real world, there’s no alternative to oil for either transport or manufacturing and Asia is accelerating its use of hydrocarbon fuels, meaning there’s absolutely no point in us not using our own oil. If the twins were the enemies of Australia, would they behave any differently?

The Lab-Lib Twins are evil scum.
I wonder if 'some' Australian company executive could do a deal with an Indian company and swap Queensland coal for Indian petrol refined from Russian oil.
'Tata Fuel' has a certain ring to it.

Re: Power debacle might face a fresh probe
The Editor The Courier Mail
Callide C’s generators spin in housings filled with hydrogen as it’s generally non-conductive and offers low wind resistance, (Power debacle might face a fresh probe, 24/01).
At the time of the explosion, there was speculation that the inherently dangerous hydrogen had exploded spontaneously – but that is extremely unlikely.
Then there was the weird case of the collapsing cooling tower – a second extremely unlikely event.
If we have a completely honest investigation, free of any form of political influence, I reckon there’s a fair chance we’ll find evidence of sabotage.
Who’d have the motive to do that? The exact same people who are always attacking our cheapest, most reliable, least environmentally damaging, and cleanest electricity generators - the communist green-left.
How better to “prove” coal unreliable? Sabotage it, obviously.

As Struth has pointed out, many times, whether we like it or not we are in a war against the globalist fascist communists and they are certainly waging warfare against us.

Re: Chris McCoomb, Letters, 24/01
The Editor The Courier Mail
The “contention” around Australia Day is confected by the communist green-left, Chris McCoomb (Letters, 24/01), and is driven by the UN-WEF globalists whose interests are served by dividing the people of this nation.
The communist green-left continually push their fake version of Australian history that includes words like “genocide,” but if that had been the intention of the British they had the technology and they would have just done it.
If you hate Australia so much, Chris McCoomb, why don’t you move somewhere else? You and your divisive bovine manure won’t be missed and Australia’s average intelligence quotient will increase once you’ve left.
