Look, either climate science is settled or it’s not.
Prime Minister Gillard repeatedly insisted it was settled and that certainty is reflected in the policies of the Labor-Liberal twins to this day.
Those policies are a significant driver of inflation, so the twins seem very certain.
“Climate” is 30 years of weather, so to forecast climate you must be able to accurately forecast weather.
BoM fed “150 different scenarios” through “multiple forecast models” and are “80 percent” sure that a tropical low will go either east or west, (Cyclone alert over low, 19/01).
Multiple forecast models? Surely settled science would only need one?
80 percent sure? Surely settled science comes with 100% certainty?
East or west? Tell us you don’t know without telling us you don’t know.
In other words, as everyone knows, weather can’t be forecast with certainty.
So why do people believe climate, 30 year blocks of weather, can be forecast with certainty?
Think about this when your grocery bill is higher than last week - and you can thank the ignorant ideologues of the Labor-Liberal twins.
