Re: Katter cull call is ‘idiotic’
The Editor The Cairns Post Fair enough, tourism operators with a commercial interest in sighting crocodiles in remote rivers won’t want their numbers reduced, (Katter cull call is ‘idiotic’, 17/01). However, the absence of culling means population pressure is pushing crocs out of remote areas and into populated areas, increasing the chances they’ll snatch a child in the suburbs. Only an anti-humanist would think that’s OK, and anti-humanists shouldn’t be living amongst decent people.Lefties are happy to cull koalas for a wind farm, they’re happy to cull “the Reef’s gardener” – the COTs starfish, but they hate the idea of culling man-eating lizards. This intellectual inconsistency and cognitive dissonance is normal for lefties. If it’s OK for crocs to live in the Barron river and Lake Placid, let’s just relocate the excess crocs to the Brisbane River where the Greens' electorates are. We’d hear them screaming from the moon. Re: Pool a costly washout
The Editor The Cairns Post
Under the administration of the Liberal-Labor twins, the $10bn Cyclone Reinsurance Pool has been a “costly washout,” (CP, 17/01).
At this point, the Lib-Lab twins are like the abusive partner in a domestic relationship and their voters are the weaker partner who returns again and again only to be bashed each time.
“It’ll be different this time, the Lib-Lab twins are sorry for what they’ve done before and they won’t bash us again,” say their voters.
For decades, all we’ve seen the Lib-Lab twins do is squander our wealth, sell out our sovereignty, close our industries, erode our living standards, increase our cost-of-living, attack our freedom, overload us with migrants, and line their mates’ pockets.
How is that materially different from a punch in the guts?
Yeah, nah, we can stick a fork in the Lib-Lab twins and their greenie mates; they’re done.

Re: Letters, 17/01
The Editor The Cairns Post
About the kindest thing you could do for someone else is to double or even triple their lifespan.
Self-loathing Australia-haters, like Chris McCoomb and Michael Barry Henderson (Letters, 17/01), deny the fact that British settlement extended indigenous lives from about 30 years to 60-90 years.
I guess they’d have denied all those indigenous people all those extra years of life.
British settlement wasn’t an “invasion,” either, it was the British globalist lefties of the day getting rid of the little people they couldn’t fit in their prisons.
This week, the descendants of those British globalist lefties are at the WEF’s Davos meeting planning how to take away your electricity and to force you to eat bugs in 15-minute prison-cities.
The internet is the greatest research tool in the history of humanity, so in 2024 it takes a special kind of ignorance to be a reality-denying leftie.

How much are these cars subsidized by the taxpayer? It's not just the subsidies on the cars Struth but certainly in America so presumably the same in Australia there is a subsidy on the power supplied to charge them.
From memory and it is in Robert Bryce's articles but in America the true cost to charge an EV is the equivalent of $17/gallon but after subsidies it is on par with petrol.

Re: Vaccine job bid thrown out
The Editor The Cairns Post It may have been “entirely reasonable” for a health worker to “be vaccinated against Covid-19” if the injection was safe and effective – but it wasn’t, (Vaccine job bid thrown out, 17/01). Those of us who accessed uncensored information streams knew not to take the injections because of who developed them and when, information that governments still refuse to acknowledge. Had the injections been safe, they wouldn’t have killed 17-20 million people worldwide; if they were effective, the injected wouldn’t have caught Covid anyway. There’s an overwhelming quantity of peer reviewed science proving the injections were dangerous; Dr Mark Trozzi’s online library alone has 1,000 of them. Our governments and their agencies won’t face the truth about the Covid injection disaster because they disregarded established protocols and rules to follow the WHO’s disastrous misinformation. If we want justice for people like Beverley Mackenzie, we need to start by sacking the miscreants who facilitated this iatrogenic carnage – which is almost every sitting MP and Senator. If we elect only representatives who will pursue the Covid cartel’s criminality, then we have some hope of preventing their next assault, which they’re calling “Disease X”.
