Re: Bridge load cut for safety
The Editor The Cairns Post
In 1963, when the Barron bridge at Kuranda was built, the Far North had a total population of fewer than 40,000 people, (Bridge load cut for safety, 27/12).
Sixty years later, the FNQ population is about five times higher but replacing the Kuranda bridge seems beyond the government’s abilities.
The geography and geology of the site haven’t changed and there are far more taxpayers to fund infrastructure projects, therefore the problematic variable must be the government.
When you accept that the objective of the Labor-Liberal twins is to squander our wealth without producing useful infrastructure, it all makes sense.
These domestic communist subversives want to collapse free-enterprise capitalism so they can claim it has failed and introduce their masters’ corporate-run global dictatorship to “save” us.
The evidence in front of our eyes is that they’re not working for us and haven’t for a very long time.
We need them gone from our parliaments if we want to reclaim our future.

I saw a table listing 2024 pay rates for certain department heads and the 'Director' of BOM will be receiving a cash salary of $533,040 per year. And it goes up again in 2025 and 2026.
Inflation is hitting then hard you know.

Re: Get set for a power shock
The Editor The Courier Mail
Look, we all know by now that renewable energy isn’t clean, it isn’t cheap, and it can’t power a 24/7 grid, (Get set for a power shock, 27/12).
Everyone with an IQ above room temperature knows a coal-fired power station is just a big stationary steam engine.
Steam engines can be kept going forever if you keep the spare parts up to them, but government energy policy is stealing their maintenance budgets.
This worker shortage story wouldn’t exist if governments weren’t working to put coal out of business.
There will be blackouts because of government policy, not because of any shortcoming with coal.
The Labor-Liberal twins are bringing us blackouts and super-expensive electricity, not coal.
Coal isn’t our enemy, the Labor-Liberal twins are.

The majority of all Australian Parliamentarians and 'Public Servant' leadership of all Australian Parliaments and their so called Government Departments are the overseas controlled enemies of all of The Australian Peoples.
