The more solar is added, the higher the price of electricity will go, regardless of what AEMO claims, ("Sunny outlook as solar hits high", 23/10). Australia will remain completely dependent on coal for power at night, and now that subsidised solar has destroyed coal's profits, the bill paying public will be forced to subsidise coal, too.
