RE: Steve Turton, Letters, 03/10
The Editor The Cairns Post
I was expecting some historical re-inventions from far-left climate alarmists about Cloncurry’s record 1889 temperature and I wasn’t disappointed (CP, 03/10).
In this case they’re claiming the temperature was measured with incorrect equipment.
But if we assume it was the wrong equipment, (it wasn’t), why was only the record temperature deleted and not the entire record using that equipment?
Why wasn’t the old equipment keep operating alongside the new electronic sensors for a decade or so to allow a basis for comparison?
It doesn’t stack up logically, but it makes perfect sense if your job is to cool the past to make the present seem hotter.

That's pretty 'rich', Peter!
The only faulty equipment is the logic systems of the brainwashed CO2 deniers of the benefit of CO2 telling us "CO2 BAD... YOUR ALL GUNNA DIE" in that zombie like mantra.
They, the communist death manipulators, always need more virgin minds to throw in the volcanoes of their hate.

To respond to Dr Steve Turton, 03/10- Dr Steve Turton seems unaware that the 1890s was known as the “Federation Drought” and is regarded by historians as Australia’s hottest ever decade. The activists at BOM can “homogenise” (change) historical records but they can’t change old history books or historic newspapers. In Australia’s early years it was the Postmaster, the most trusted government representative in every town, who recorded the weather observations. Alarmists dismiss the Cloncurry Postmaster’s 53.1°C (127.5°F) record on January 16, 1889, because it was an “in the shade” reading, which was the standard of the time. From the most trusted media of the time, the Sydney Morning Herald, January 16, 1889, “The thermometer in the shade at Cloncurry registered 127°,” ( trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/13710806?searchTerm=Cloncurry%201889%20heat ). To use BOM’s logic, no weather observation using pre-electronic technology should remain on the record because none of them were recorded in the same manner as today. Dr Jennifer Short Edge Hill

Jennifer,
I hope you continue using your proper title, Dr Jennifer Short.
In my local nearest country town along The Murray River the local, then, NSW Forestry Department officer also maintained a Stevenson Screen and recorded daily temperature and rainfall readings, not that there was much rainfall.
Given what we know of electronic equipment no wonder the 'CO2 is Good' deniers reject paper records over manipulative electronic!

RE: Doctors back a healing voice exclusive
The Editor The Daily Telegraph
Yet another group whose incomes depend on keeping tight with The Establishment, doctors, has come out in favour of The Establishment’s changes to the Constitution, which is the people’s contract with the government, (Doctors back a healing voice exclusive, 03/10).
The Establishment is conscripting all its cronies and all the groups who feed from its teats to harness our residual trust in them to achieve its objective.
Sorry, but my trust in doctors has plummeted since they pushed the Covid shots, so them pushing the Voice just cements my No vote.

RE: Unusual ‘drop’ of rain expected in NQ
The Editor The Townsville Bulletin
You have to laugh; climate alarmists are so certain about the weather in 75 years that they can predict the temperature to 0.5 degrees, but “it’s too early to predict the wet season” which generally starts in November, (Unusual ‘drop’ of rain expected in NQ, 03/10).
Here’s the issue with the computer models that climate alarmists rely on; you have to understand the whole system and you have to know your precise location in its timeline.
Climate alarmists know neither of those things.
Their energy balance equations don’t include the full range of electromagnetic interactions between Earth and the sun and galaxy, which is how they can attribute impossible physical properties to trace gases.
Whenever you hear someone from The Establishment basing something on “climate”, please understand that the whole narrative is intended to scare you into compliance with their control matrix.

RE: If we value our kids, why not our childcare?
The Editor The Gold Coast Bulletin
Ann Wason Moore seems not to understand that the growth of governments has created the circumstances where children must be dumped into childcare centres, (If we value our kids, why not our childcare?, 03/10).
In the 1950s and ‘60’s, one parent could work the average job and support the other parent who would stay home to raise the kids, with money left over for a boat or caravan.
Since then, excessive government interference in our lives has resulted in kids being raised by strangers on low wages while both parents must work to maintain a basic lifestyle.
That’s perfect for government indoctrination of the very young at their most impressionable stage, but it’s suboptimal for the family strength our society was built from.
Moore applauds the childcare industry wanting taxpayer money to supplement wages, saying, “So, please, take my taxes” without any evident understanding that more socialism just makes everything worse for everybody.
To properly value our kids, Ann, we must fight the creeping spread of socialism.

RE: Petrol fuels rate fears
The Editor The Courier Mail
When you read stories like “Petrol fuels rate fears”, (CM, 03/10), don’t forget that the Labor and Liberal parties made the conscious decision to shut down most of our domestic hydrocarbon fuel industry and to join the globalists’ international market.
We have more oil in the Arckaringa Basin than the Saudis ever had, and we have more again under the Rumble Range and in the far north-west – but the Labor-Liberal twins want to “leave it in the ground”.
The twins also sent most of our oil refining capabilities to Asia, leaving us reliant on the absence of war for essential fuel supplies. Brilliant, eh?
If you want to return to the prosperity that cheap hydrocarbon fuels bring, you must start by putting the twins down in your last preferences when you vote, where all globalists, communists, and climate alarmists belong.
