Not many cuttings today,
Nuclear not the answer to the immediate energy crisis. Still going on about the need for more RE capacity.
Fears for the Victorian wind industry.
Green cartels to save the planet may violate regulatory rules.
Some bonus items.
Our colleague Bob King regularly collates the state of play in approval of new wind and solar facilities, with other similar information. This is the latest list, put up for public inspection on the New Catallaxy blog.

FAKING THE TEMPERATURE RECORDS
A story today from Peter Campion in a letter to the Cairns Post
There have been numerous instances when temperatures much higher than 50.7C have been recorded in Australia, but they’ve been deleted from the record by the activists who infiltrated BoM.
The last time I went to Cloncurry their sign recording their hottest ever day of 53.1C in 1889 was still at the roadside.
CO2 was 30 percent lower in 1889 than it is now.
When BoM deleted Cloncurry’s record I rang Cloncurry’s local history volunteers and asked if I could purchase a copy of the Postmaster’s official temperature record from the late 1880s.
They readily agreed, suggested a $20 donation to cover their costs, and said they’d mail it the next day.
That afternoon a volunteer rang me on the verge of tears.
Their precious historical temperature record had mysteriously vanished from their archive.
Curiously, the thief had not stolen the rainfall record recorded by the same Postmaster.
That’s how the climate criminals shape the narrative; through theft, deception, and lies.
