RE: Runners in toilet chaos
The Editor The Cairns Post
In what world is 32.6C “scorching heatwave conditions”, (Runners in toilet chaos, 17/09)?
When the first runners finished the Sydney Marathon at 9.30am, the temperature was 24.4C.
It only got to a perfectly normal 32.6C at 3pm when those not fit enough to run a marathon were struggling home.
Pretending ordinary Australian summer temperatures prove a climate disaster shows just how weak the alarmists’ case is.

RE: What a way to beat the heat
The Editor The Daily Telegraph
The left are trying to play up Sydney’s normal summer heat as a “heatwave”, which just shows how weak the alarmists’ case is, (What a way to beat the heat, 18/09).
According to Sydney’s oldest weather station at nearby Observatory Hill, which is now in the centre of a massive urban heat island, the minimum on Sunday was 17.1C at 6am.
It was 24.4C at 9.30am when the fit runners finished the race.
The temperature approached 30C two hours later at 11.30am, not “shortly after”.
It only got to a perfectly normal 32.6C at 3pm when those not fit enough to run a marathon were struggling home.
Pretending ordinary Australian summer temperatures prove a climate disaster is pathetic.

Let's sue the organizers of the marathon for public endangerment, shut down the marathon for ever and send everyone who ran in it to Queensland and Northern Territory "wellness" camps for re-education to get rid of the urge to run in a competition.

To comment on “Long journey to Uluru statement”, 18/09 -
Very few people remember Anthony Albanese campaigning in the 2020 election to introduce the Voice, because he barely did so. Almost nobody on remote communities asked for the Voice. The people driving the Uluru statement have strong links to Marxism, (“Long journey to Uluru statement”, 18/09). Let’s consider some of them.
Marcia Langton is a trained communist and was a member of the National Committee of the Communist League, which campaigned for the violent overthrow of the Australian government. Thomas Mayo is a self-described militant communist and anti-white activist with links to the Communist Party of Australia. Anthony Albanese has a long documented history with radical communists and Marxist trade unions. Linda Burney often pushes the talking points of the Communist Party of Australia and suggests No voters are racist.
The Voice isn’t about racial disadvantage: it’s about tricking Aussies into voting their way into communism.
