Miles is ahead of pack
The Editor The Cairns Post
Wow. The Human Rights Commissioner “has not managed to secure a meeting with the Premier in nearly five years”, (Miles is ahead of pack, 09/09).
Politicians are meant to represent us in parliament, to act on the will of the people in their electorate, but they don’t or the Premier wouldn’t dodge the Human Rights Commissioner.
They’ve enacted policies that are crippling households financially against our will.
It wasn’t our will to force power prices up with ridiculous pipedreams about electricity from unicorn farts.
It wasn’t our will to send petrol to $2/litre by refusing to mine oil and by sending our refineries to Asia.
It wasn’t our will to create a housing shortage with stupid immigration levels to prop up a fake number called “GDP”.
It wasn’t our will to put interest rates through the roof because foreign privately-owned central banks did, which has pushed the economy into recession – whether they admit it or not.
The ALP and LNP are working against our interests, which puts them in breach of their Constitutional obligation to represent our will.
What a shame that our Governors and Governor-General lack the moral fibre to perform their duty to prorogue our parliaments until these wretched elected miscreants agree to conduct themselves properly or to stand down.

To comment on a power bill that doubled in three years -
Three years ago, when they first became monthly accounts, my electricity bill was $158.20. There’s been no changes in my household, not even different appliances, but today my monthly account was $314.96. It has doubled in three years, thanks to the destructive, anti-scientific, anti-humanist, agenda-driven policies of the woke, far-left ALP and LNP.
