Beware of Newspeak. It is on track to replace standard English by 2050.
George Orwell’s Newspeak, described in the Appendix to 1984, was a language designed to diminish the range of thought by the elimination or alteration of certain words, the substitution of one word for another and generally making the language itself a vehicle of propaganda.
The aim was to make some concepts like freedom practically indescribable or unthinkable. Kel Richards is doing Orwell's work at present.
It was expected that Newspeak would have finally superseded Oldspeak (or Standard English) by about the year 2050. It is on track to achieve that target.
This excellent short piece explains the key points.
An example of Newspeak is the way the ancient and honourable term "disinterested" is increasingly being used to mean uninterested, which is radically different.
Disinterested used to mean even-handed, impartial, fair-minded, to contrast with biased, prejudiced or partisan.
We want disinterested judges, magistrates, and disinterested reporters covering the news and commentating on issues, but now it increasingly means that they are not paying attention.
