RE: Gap is still wide on key measures
The Editor The Cairns Post Indigenous Australians Minister Linda Burney stresses “Australia” is faring poorly in meeting its “Closing the Gap Targets”, (Gap is still wide on key measures, 12/07). However, since governments became the all-encompassing nanny-state, all “Australia” can do is pay the exorbitant bills Albo’s government incurs in our names. For indigenous matters that’s north of $33 billion pa. As Indigenous Australians Minister, it is Burney who is being ranked in the Productivity Commission’s scathing new report. Burney is a confirmed failure and should resign in disgrace. Albo’s government has made no improvements to indigenous lives but is squandering a third of a billion dollars on a UN-driven effort to lock racial division into the Constitution. The UN’s objective is to gain control of indigenous lands through a “treaty” leading from Albo’s “Voice”. This has been described in detail by the excellent Australian Aboriginal lawyer, prosecutor, and former member of the PM’s Indigenous Advisory Council, Josephine Cashman, on Substack.com. She has an amazing amount of information and commentary at that site which is well worth reading.
She also provides a substack link to Stephen Reason who is also worth a look.

To comment on “Red alert on bushfires”, 12/07

The January 2022 Tonga underwater volcanic eruption injected vast quantities of vaporised water into the atmosphere which created a lot of extra rain which boosted Australia’s vegetation. The change in the ENSO cycle will reduce the rainfall we receive and that extra vegetation will dry out and become potential fire fuel, (“Red alert on bushfires”, 12/07).
Intelligent societies reduce bushfire risk by logging, grazing, slashing, mulching, firewood collection, grading firebreaks, and fuel reduction burns. In Australia, however, the green-left will vigorously resist all of these so that when unmanaged vegetation is ignited by lightning, powerlines arcing, or arson they can shriek about “climate change”.
Millions of protected animals will be incinerated, millions of carbon-capturing trees will die, and millions of tonnes of CO2 will be released so the green-left can prop up their dying political “global warming” narrative.
