RE: Be at home on the range
The Editor The Cairns Post
The FNQ Regional Organisation of Councils executive officer has correctly stated the outcome of 1999’s Integrated Transport Study for the Kuranda Range, which spun off the FNQ 2010 Regional Strategic Planning Process, was that Cairns’ overflow population could not be accommodated west of Kuranda due to the cost of upgrading the Kuranda Range Road, (Be at home on the range, 27/06).
However, cost was just one factor in the decision to abandon proposed satellite communities around Kuranda and Myola. The other was that there are very few jobs or services in that area, its residents would be regular Range commuters, and their numbers would swamp an upgrade to four lanes.
The FNQROC EO concludes that Cairns’ overflow population should be placed there anyway, which makes it seem like the FNQ 2031 is yet another waste of time and money - just like its predecessor.
There is a way to improve Cairns-Tablelands connectivity that pays for itself, which I’ve described here several time previously, but neither Labor nor the LNP want to hear about it – presumably because it doesn’t end with you living in a World Economic Forum-approved pod in a high rise tower in a 15-minute city, where you’ll own nothing, eat bugs, and be happy.

RE: Teacher’s lunch ban for child, 5, takes the cake
The Editor The Townsville Bulletin
Teachers feeling empowered to override parents’ choices for their children is the planned result of decades of globalist infiltration of education, (Teacher’s lunch ban for child, 5, takes the cake, 27/06).
Over 2,300 years ago Aristotle said, “Give me the child for the first seven years and I'll give you the man”. That’s why the globalists spent billions over decades to get control of teacher training.
The worst mistake we ever made in educating the next generation was allowing globalists to close the teachers’ colleges, end classroom-based teacher training, and move teacher training into their controlled universities.

Those of us who understand physics and maths have said for decades that the world cannot “transition to renewables” and this has now been confirmed by the Energy Institute’s Statistical Review of World Energy, (“Wads of green for no result”, 27/06) (https://www.energyinst.org/statistical-review). Despite spending “countless billions” on wind and solar, they produce just 2.1% and 3.3% of global energy needs.
Renewables promoters are so desperate to put good news about their fetish into the conversation that they include hydro, biofuels, and waste to round renewables up to 14% of energy consumption. Hydro accounts for 2.5% but the political left block new projects. Biofuels and waste account for 6% and are included as renewables despite CO2 emissions from their mostly inefficient combustion being far higher than hydrocarbon fuels.
Like “dangerous man-made climate change”, the “transition to renewables” is a political myth designed to transfer our wealth to unelected foreigners and give them control over us.
