RE: Should we switch off gas?
The Editor The Herald Sun
“Should we switch off gas?”
Sure, that way we can sell it to China.
Gas and coal burned in China don’t cause global warming, right?

RE: Focus on science, Letters, 19/06 – Warming from cyclones, Letters, 21/06
The Editor The Cairns Post
Suggesting all scientists are left-wing is the “absurd absolute” logical fallacy, (Focus on science, 19/06), but those approving research grants are all left-wing.
If seas-level rise was a threat, banks wouldn’t lend for property in expensive low-lying markets like London and New York.
Fort Denison’s sea-level graph should be trending upwards in line with Asia’s skyrocketing emissions, but it only shows post-Little Ice Age thermal expansion of less than 1mm/yr.
If Councils were reacting to settled science on accelerating sea-level rise they’d be building sea walls like the Dutch have.
If cyclones were increasing in frequency and intensity they’d be all over the news and many of us would have suffered losses (Warming and cyclones, 21/06).
Instead, alarmist activists at BoM declare offshore storms that nobody sees as cyclones to support their own political narrative.
Climate alarmism is all cherry-picking and arm-waving assertions, but low-info lefties never apply their own critical analysis – they just obediently repeat it at high volume.
Climate alarmism is costing us big-time, and Asia gets stronger as we get weaker.

RE: ‘Too little on table’ in NQ
The Editor The Townsville Bulletin
The Palaszczuk regime could end the housing crisis with a stroke of the pen, as could an incoming LNP government, (‘Too little on table’ in NQ).
All they need to do is eliminate regulations.
Let people choose what inclusions are in their building rather than mandating so many, often on the basis of ideology, that add cost.
Let people live in sheds if they want to – it’s better than living in a hatchback.
Ease up on development restrictions - we’re not short of land.
Give private investors their full suite of property rights back because they can provide housing far more efficiently than governments, at no cost to taxpayers.
David Crisafulli could announce that he’ll slash regulations to ease the housing shortage to improve his chances of winning the next election.
But he won’t, because the ALP-LNP twins are the UNiparty and they only implement policy that the Davos-class globalist billionaires allow them to.

RE: Crisafulli defends LNP pick
The Editor The Courier Mail
Spending $213,725 of taxpayers’ money to teach pottery at Doomadgee, (Crisafulli defends LNP pick, 21/06), just doesn’t pass the pub test.
Absolutely nobody would vote for that; it’s an extraordinary and unwarranted squandering of our wealth.
David Crisafulli’s defence of that sort of waste, or anyone involved with it, is why he’ll keep losing elections.
Labor and the LNP could be twins, and both will waste our money and ruin our prosperity by ignoring the will of the people and only implementing policies the Marxist World Economic Forum approves.
