RE: Beef with reef image
The Editor The Cairns Post
Good to see tourism operators discussing the negative perceptions created by the climate alarm industrial complex, (Beef with reef image, 17/06).
As I’ve always said, operators must disconnect from alarmists and require their peak representative body (TTNQ) to debunk alarmist claims.
None of the alarmists’ predictions about the Reef have eventuated because they’re all based on science that’s obviously wrong.
That’s reflected in the “relative absence of cyclones” when alarmists screeched for decades about “more frequent, more intense” cyclones.
Using weather scares to achieve political objectives is a strategy that dates back to the tribal shaman, so it’s just sad that people still fall for them.

To comment on “Hottest start to June on record”, 17/06 - Climate alarmists are now so obviously disingenuous that they’re making really silly statements such as “global temperatures exceeded pre-industrial levels by more than 1.5C”, (“Hottest start to June on record”, 17/06), without mentioning that the pre-industrial era was the Little Ice Age (1350-1850), which was the coldest period in the current interglacial era. If the warmth had not returned we would not currently enjoy the excellent climatic conditions we have been blessed with.
There’s four basic prerequisites for life: oxygen, carbon dioxide, water, and warmth. Remove any one of those four and life ends. What are the predator-class globalist alarmists waging war on? Carbon dioxide and warmth. Globalists and climate alarmists are not our friends.

To comment on “Subzero shock as winter frost bites” and “ Power bills on the rise”, 17/06 -
The atmosphere knows no national boundaries and China opens a new coal-fired power station every two weeks. CO2 from human activity is a tiny portion of the total CO2 flux, which is regulated by the solar-heated oceans, (Henry’s Law). If increasing CO2 causes global warming, why are late-autumn morning temperatures perilously close to setting records for cold, (“Subzero shock as winter frost bites”, 17/06)?
The EU’s climate alarm agency is claiming it’s the hottest start to June since the pre-industrial era without mentioning we’re still warming up from the Little Ice Age, (1350-1850), the coldest period in the current interglacial era. That solar-driven warming perfectly accounts for rising CO2 levels.
Nonetheless, the ideologically-obsessed Labor party is eliminating reliable electricity in favour of weather-dependent electricity and causing horrendous economic problems, (“Power bills on the rise”, 17/06), despite their actions having precisely net zero effect on the planet’s baseline surface temperatures.
Without electricity, life rapidly becomes impossible in cities, (“Have we become utterly unplugged?”, 17/06). Most people won’t live more than four days without water, which relies on reliable electricity. If the Albanese regime was working to achieve “a mass die-off of Australians”, would it look any different?
