In all Western countries, globalists are pushing “truth-telling commissions”, (Historic vote for first nations, 12/05).
These are intended to create racial divisions and they never examine all the good that advanced culture did for indigenous populations.
The globalists are a little hindered in Australia because, unlike their competitor nations of the colonial era, the British were fighting against the ancient practice of slavery and never enslaved the aboriginals.
Nonetheless, they’ll pick at long-healed wounds until they create fresh scabs because ultimately the goal of the “voice” and any “treaty” is to place all rural land and water under United Nations control.
That’s the only way they’ll force all Australians into their “15-minute cities” where we’ll “eat bugs, own nothing, and be happy”.

To comment on Andrew Collins, Letters, 12/05 -
The trouble with belief, Andrews Collins (Letters, 12/05), is that it has no place in science. Stephen Hawking, in his book “A Brief History of Time”, notes that when Albert Einstein heard of a book titled “100 Authors against Einstein” in which 100 German physicists believed he was wrong in his theory of relativity, he retorted “If I were wrong, it would only take one.”
This is the state of play with CO2 science today. A small but powerful cadre of activist scientists supported by wealthy depopulationist globalists attribute properties to CO2 that are provably impossible under the laws of physics and all dissenting voices are censored, banned, and silenced. I am one such dissenting voice, Mr Collins. I don’t “believe” the climate change narrative because I can prove it wrong from first principles.

To comment on “Game on to help save reef”, 12/05 -
If peak tourism bodies had any sense and weren’t simply a useless bunch of trend-following wokesters, they’d push back against all globalist efforts to suggest the GBR is damaged or endangered, (“Game on to help save Reef”, 12/05). The Reef, as AIMS has been reluctantly forced to admit, has record coral cover and is pristine.
Alarmist academic activists find spreading doom-prophecies about the Reef incredibly profitable. Leftie politicians like Malcolm Turnbull will give them $444 million of our money for all the free Reef trips they could want. What did we get for the price of four regional hospitals? Nothing but damage to the Reef tourism industry.
IMHO, tourism businesses should boycott their “representative bodies” until such time as they find the courage to do their jobs.

To comment on “This is where buck stops”, 12/05 -
While I agree with the thrust of the Courier Mail’s story that six Labor ministers have failed two autistic brothers, (This is where buck stops, 12/05), we’re dreaming if we believe that Labor ministers are allowed to make any decisions themselves. “Our” major political parties have long been captured by the organisation of uber-wealthy globalists that no longer even bothers hiding itself.
Globalists dictate to Labor what ministers must do or may not do, which is why politicians we (allegedly) elect work tirelessly against our interests.
While I doubt we can vote our way out of this mess, the only hope we have is if everyone realises our legacy parties have been stolen from us and that everyone needs to vote for minor pro-freedom parties in future. That, at least, would make our elections harder to rig.

RE: ABC to cut jobs in restructure
The Editor The Daily Telegraph
Our national broadcaster, (ABC to cut jobs in restructure, 12/05), has devolved into a national disgrace.
We deserve much better for our billion dollars a year.
It has been totally captured by the looniest left-wing extremists, as we read last Monday, (ABC’s royal rants fail to lure viewers, 08/05).
It hasn’t abided by its own charter for years, it’s been redundant for decades, and it’s become destructive to our shared values.
There are two logical courses of action: shut it down or mutualise it.
I prefer the latter – mutualising it by granting its staff shares in it commensurate with their accumulated entitlements would be very educational for them.
If they continue being woke they will, deliciously ironically, send themselves broke.

DT – To comment on “Dutton’s budget reply goes nuclear”, 12/05
HS - To comment on “Dutton’s nuclear attack”, 12/05 -
Too many people fail to understand that without affordable and reliable electricity that is always available when we flick the switch, society will promptly collapse into anarchy. We no longer have the capacity to live electricity-free 18th-century lifestyles.
To keep the lights on, we need to burn either hydrocarbon fuels or nuclear fuels, (“Dutton’s budget reply goes nuclear”, 12/05). It has been abundantly proven in California, Texas, Germany, and South Australia that “renewables” cannot keep the lights on, much less produce affordable reliable electricity.
Personally, I’d prefer we continue with hydrocarbons, because nuclear relies on a continuing advanced society and I don’t see that as within our capabilities anymore.

Today's text submissions
Yes, we all enjoy a regional daily newspaper - however, the CP along with all its stablemates suppressed the truth about the mildness of covid, the availability of safe cures, and the dangers of the injections. That cost lives and a great deal of money. The CP will never again have our trust. Chloe, Kuranda
Nobody should be surprised that a teenage girl in a stolen car rammed a police car (CP, 12/05) because on 10/05 the police union spokesman told them that's how to get less intrusion into their crime waves. M. Turner, Whitfield
While it's good that Council is waiving some of its excessive costs on developing new land (CP 12/8), I'd like to know how much it reduces the average block of land by. Isaac, could you please ask that question for us readers? Curious, Cairns
Lol, the premier who lied non-stop about covid is setting up a 'truth telling commission'! Lol! Jag, Mt Sheridan
Andrew Collins (12/5) your letter is hilarious. Your side said we'd have higher average sea levels by now. Jennifer Short is quite right to ask for proof, because your side has provided none. All your side has done is tell scary stories while taking our money. So please, Andrew, show proof or shut up. Thanks in advance! Helena, Cooktown
Regarding "Obesity a covid worry" (TB 12/05), it was clear from the get-go that the older and the more obese a person was the higher their chance of dying of covid. I was a fit young aged care nurse but was sacked for refusing injections that have a very high mortality rate and a very short efficacy period. One day the news media will be forced to admit it was conned by deeply evil people within our governments and the ranks of the globalists. Chloe, Kuranda
To me it looks like the only conspiracy in the Higgins rape accusation was to smear the Liberals in the run-up to the election. Could that be conspiracy to commit election interference? Higgs, Cronulla
Well, happy birthday, Cairns Post, but we remember when you repeated the claims of climate alarmists about a "dead Reef" that were picked up and echoed around the world by international media. That came at a cost of many millions to our tourism industry, but the Reef wasn't even remotely dead. Before you brag about your journalism you might like to ensure you're digging down to cold hard facts and not simply putting your by-line on alarmist nonsense press releases. Dennis and Jason, Port Douglas
I'm old enough to remember when we went to plastic bags to save the trees. Now we've gone back to paper when it was never us dumping plastic in the oceans - that all comes from 8 rivers in Asia and 2 in Africa. Of course, it's very profitable for the major corporations - particularly the pharmaceutical companies when people get sick from using contaminated reusable shopping bags. Julie, Westcourt
What a shame. Victorian researchers may (or may not) have developed a cancer vaccine. Sadly, after the death-and-profits Covid-19 jabs, very few will trust "vaccines" for a very long time. Injured Party, Mooroobool
Hang on, didn't the Cairns weather radar have a major upgrade just a year or two back which took it offline for weeks? Was the last upgrade a stuff up? Why does it need another upgrade so soon? Weather Watcher, Trinity Beach
Before the Rockefellers came up with oil-based "allopathic medicine", we all used ancient time-proven natural therapies for healing, (Natural proves best therapy for many, TB, 12/5). Natural therapies were ruthlessly crushed and demonised by the Rockefellers (and their employee, Abraham Flexner) in their Godless pursuit of profits and power, and people today are fatter and sicker than they were before the Rockefellers stuck their noses into everyone else's business. Marie, Aitkenvale
I wish the Cairns Post had stuck to reporting current events without fear or favour and had never tried, as the previous editor said, to "shape public opinion". Davina, Bungalow
Wait, what? "Energy bills continue to rise despite budget relief?" But renewables are cheaper, right? One Tooth Wally, Cairns North
Governments just love squandering our money on academic brainwashing institutions (CP, 12/8). Academic experts have been so wrong for so long that the smarter kids are getting trades instead of degrees these days. Nanna, Herberton
We can only leave things to the police if the police are allowed to do their jobs by the Labor government (TB, 12/05). Youth crime won't be fixed by Labor. They know how to fix it but they're not fixing it. Conclusion: Labor supports youth crime. That hundcuffs the police and leaves fixing youth crime up to us. Ex-ALP Voter, Townsville
A Rassmussen poll has found that 62% of Americans believe fraud affected the outcome of the 2020 election. That belief is shared by 80% of Republicans, 64% of Independents, and 45% of Democrats. Republican, Cairns
