Winning and losing.
Some people's version of winning is very different to others.
Some think that not standing for anything, but working around injustice, staying quiet, and being present after all is done, leaving others to fight the battle, to be winning.
I call it losing.
I call winning being your own man and standing for what is right.
No matter what.
Those with the former position therefore find people like me to be obtuse and somewhat aggressive when the fight is brought into their vicinity, or indeed attacks their slimey stance while they are attempting to stay within the perimeters of that very stance.
In these times, you will be forced to confront right and wrong, and pick sides.
There was never going to be a soft option as those holding the first position are finding out.
You were never going to be able to pull it off.
It's a form of go woke go broke.
You destroy yourself by not taking a stand.
Right now poor old CL, who I have time for, wants a quiet inoffensive blog where no one says a harsh word.
Who thinks that's really possible in these times?
I called out the utter hypocrisy of someone who fell badly at the first hurdle, and has stubbornly stayed un-Christian, for calling herself a practicing Catholic.
And I always will.
Publicly dribbling shit opens you up to others, and freely given, unsolicited shit, is open to people replying and calling it out.
"For the sake of peace", letting bullshit and evil go unchallenged isn't a recipe for success in the long run.
What does this appeasement do in the long run?
Let's look at history.
Look at the mess the west is in precisely because, for the sake of peace we have remained quiet in the face of the insanity now taking control.
It's not so much cowardice as it is shirking your responsibilities as senior members of a civilisation.
The greatest there ever was.
Born from the light of truth which is Christianity.
So I cannot let the fact that a purely evil person in action and deed calls herself a practicing Catholic and distorts entirely what it means to be Christian.
I also believe in the right of those I call out, to be able to defend the reasoning for their actions. For free speech.
I've never wanted anyone silenced.
Just challenged if they seem to be dribbling shit.
With right of reply, of course.
This stance seems to be quite confronting to many a snowflake these days.
Boo hoo.
Here's where I'm coming from.
I have no leaders except Christ.
There are no politicians, no business leaders. There is no one leading me except god.
I am an Australian.
Listening to anyone talk about our "Leaders" makes me want to puke.
I come from a position where the government is supposed to work for us, not lead us, but do what the fuck it is told to do by a democratic majority.
In holding that position, therefore, I have responsibilities.
I am not a young man and not so old to be senile in any way.
I must therefore take responsibility for my civilisation and it's health and not leave it to others to fight for it.
And not leave it to others to speak the truth.
There are no "leaders" I expect to do my work for me.
I'll do it myself thanks.
If I want freedom, I've got responsibilities.
Being liked by people is way down the list of importance.
So whether I come out on top in this world, is going to be decided by some bugger with wings and a halo standing in front of some pearly gates.
Judging my actions whilst here.
Not that I ensured I had the least physical problems by staying silent, and not fighting evil.......especially at the very least, calling it out for what it is.
Look, it seems to some I'm being over simplistic, but indeed I am not.
Some will take my stance and say, well that's ok for you Struth, but I love my family and my greatest responsibility is to look after them.
Not to go around like some strutting peacock like you.
Yes, they get bitchy like that.
Christian teaching says love your fellow man, not just your family.
I am looking at the big picture.
Our fight can only be won by standing up, not accepting evil and that can only be done by speaking the truth forcefully and loudly right now.
It is the only non violent option left, and it has always been the best and most forceful weapon we have.
I am looking at the long run, and I always have.
And in looking at the long run, I believe you'll do the very worst thing for your families by not speaking up, by allowing evil to speak and appeasing it to keep the peace.
That is the road to destroying your family.
And that is losing.
