There won't be any money for disability anything (CP, 3/5) unless the ALP and LNP find a way to create the wealth to pay back what they already owe - or until we throw them both out for being incompetent (at best) and give someone else a go. Economist, Cairns
"Cold snap to bring snow to Alpine", (CP 30/5). Wait, what? Snow, and it's not even winter? But, but, but we were told the "kids wouldn't know snow" ten years ago by climate change activists! Is the settled science broken? Angie, Freshwater
With so much discussion and concern about the Kuranda Range (3/5) around, it is a crying shame that the Cairns Post stopped reporting the best of them because its proponent, a UAP candidate, hurt the editor's feelings. It's not "our" newspaper - it's "her" newspaper. Woz, Parramatta Park
It seems the honest, taxpaying, law abiding citizens must live in fear (3/05) because the police can't be everywhere and politicians stopped judges jailing offenders. Before we had police, we had community justice and the right to self defence. As the policing model has failed, we are highly likely to drift back to what works. The "kids" that go out on nightly crime sprees could "disappear" under that scenario. Is that really what politicians want? Harry, Aeroglen
Dougal, (CP, 03/05), there's nothing wrong with the food delivery trucks but your green-left mates in the ALP, Greens and LNP are doing their best to collapse food supply chains, just as they are in every other advanced country. Their biolab virus didn't thin the herd enough, so now they're going to try to starve you. Steve, Yorkeys Knob
