In a recent episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," Joe Rogan and Douglas Murray discussed humanity's need for religion. When people (or societies) reject Christianity, they have to replace it with something else. We see the results all around us, from the new atheism to the cult of wokeness. This reminds me of something G. K. Chesterton said more than a century ago in "Orthodoxy."

Unfortunately our Christianity is tired. Whereas Russian Christianity is now vital and dynamic. Every knee shall bend because none have Christianity right.

As to Chesterton, at first I didn't know how I got so old before I ever heard of him and then I realised that of course the Western world wouldn't have got into the state it is in if studying Chesterton had have been standard for Western Education instead of being made to read books such as, "Puberty Blues" & "Catcher In The Rye".

Our Christianity isn't tired. A religion can't tire.
People tire of it, until they need it.
Christianity won't perish in these troubled times, it will flourish because of them.

Yep, and the number of, ' I'm alright Jack, I don't need no stinkin' religion. Didn't religions start all the wars?', cool froods growing up, having families and suddenly starting to see the value in Christianity, is, notable.
