The Need To Short-Circuit Spengler

We have to change our way of thinking about infrastructure spending. To us infrastructure spending is associated with big corporations peddling influence, Macquarie bank being the middle man and making a huge amount of loot doing next to nothing. Politicians signing dubious documents increasing our cost of living. Debt as far as the eye can see. And governments taking this spending off-balance-sheet so that their incapacity to run a surplus budget is made to look somewhat less catastrophic than it really is.

If we are thinking about civilsational rebirth we need to build and build and build, without debt, and without the conceit that we are necessarily going to benefit as individuals from this spending. The idea is to start projects. Run them slowly and without debt, so they can be run cost-effectively. And with a bit of luck, when you are very many years into the project, with as many problems sorted out, and everyone trained up on the skills level THEN you will find a way to speed the projects up cost-effectively.

Take the optical fibre scheme the Labour party had. The idea was just to allocate a 10,000 AUD dollar a day budget and start. Start communicating with local councils. Start scheduling when they were to dig up this or that street, and have people ready to put in the optical fibres. Don't dilly dally around for 20 years arguing about it. Don't then bring in Rothschilds and Meryl Lynch. Don't take it off-budget. None of that horseshit. Just start on a small tiny allowance. Everyone will know when you have a tight experienced team. It might be ten years on. It might be 25 years on. But there will be times where your productivity is manifest and you can speed things up. Once you've trained the people, and trained the trainers, and have all the best gear you can speed things up without compromising productivity.

Now with the above in mind our civilisation needs to rehydrate the continent. Once having achieved this we want all these transportable river systems all over the place. We want our Rhine, our Danube, our Dnieper. We need it all. You start off with a 5000 year perspective but sooner or later you can speed it up and we can get everything sorted in a much shorter time period. The first step is not to start widening rivers. The first thing is to put swales on the convex parts of the hills and check dams where the hills are concave. Silvopasture rather than pure pasture can be made the norm. Tighter herding to improve the soil and the soils water retention capacity. The buring of charred wood to put some permanent biochar in the soil.

After many decades of doing this we can manipulate clouds such that more rain falls on the land than on the sea. Its after this process that local rivers can be widened for transport. Later seaweed can be brought up these rivers in bulk to make the continent lush and productive.

We have to have a more sensible idea of technology than what nutballs like Kirchner are capable of. Its the failure to fully apply the more simple technologies that doom the high technology to being flash in the pan.

Its not tangential at all. This glorification of developmental disorders is a sure sign of civilisational failure. Even back in the 90's you could have some truck driver who was reasonably macho during the week, but because of some psychological illness would feel the need to express himself by going to a club, dressing up as a chick and lip-synching Tina Turner and Cher songs. Well of course we can tolerate that. But we can't tolerate these people confusing the kids. This is the sort of craziness that ought not be allowed out in the open until the children have been put to bed. Do we seriously want to survive or not? Well survival and leading the good life doesn't start with confusing small children when they are still at their asexual or barely sexual level of development.

So we can't fuck around here. This must stop. This is after hours activity for people with disorders. Thats what we have to go back to.

It's not rocket science.
It's cultural Marxism and the march through the institutions, which any good coomo knows, the education or destruction thereof, of children is paramount.
Killing manliness in those that you wish to enslave etc.
