Looks like kaysee on dash cat has won.
There was this post from the admin, clearly directed at me, for daring to question the bugs in the blog engine.

There was an incorrect analogy made on the OT, earlier this week. To set it right:
The blog is “public” in that it can be viewed by anyone with access to the internet.
The blog owner (“landlord”) decides on the rules and who should be allowed into the site (“bar”) to comment. As well as who should be allowed to stay in, as a commenter.
It is a private blog (“bar”) in a public space. Owner’s blog – owner’s rules.
The blog follows a No Dickheads Policy – which is not limited to just trolls. And it is enforced.
All others who wish to take part in the threads and discussions are welcome. This blog supports free speech (within the rules). Self-moderation helps in blog admin.

My reply to this was suppressed.
So much for 'free speech'. Having Birdy on for weeks and keeping his vile rants on the forum for days even after many requests and reports was Ok with the admin, asking a question about bugs in the system gets you banned.
FFS after BoN I could be the least controversial bloke on any forum. (belay that, not on the professional forums I belong to, but there I speak from experience)

Oh well, so much for that. If even a simple innocuous reply is too much for the sensitivities, than what can one do?

bugs are annoying but we can go around it, seems that the mere action of mentioning them is an offense.
I have absolutely no illusion about the value of my contribution, I comment little due to being 8-10 hours behind depending on seasonal daylight saving, and by the time I join the forum the conversation had moved on.
The lame pics. are a whimsy of mine, appreciated by some and rightfully ignored by many.
In case they are not allowed here any more they can be found here as well;

Anyways, I think JC and others questioning the dash cat admin's credentials were quite sensible at the time despite others rushing to his defense.
Hindsight is a marvelous thing, 20-20 even.
Ps. Struths, I agree with some of your ideas, but with one in particular a 100%.
