But not the trucks with chocolate in them. People need to see an empty supermarket or 2 for a day or 2. And much as I admire the protests in the capital cities I think they're doing it wrong. Protests should be in the streets where local members live, preferably outside their house. Much stronger message. Much more convenient for protestors. Much more difficult for police.

But good idea of protesting at local members office... not their home though.

So it's Ok for your nearest and dearest to be subjected to tyranny but not Ok for Mrs pollie and the little pollies to see peaceful protestors outside their home, expressing their displeasure with placards. It's all fodder for the media mill. Equally protests outside Ch 7, 9, 10, ABC, SBS offices. The police may be toughened up for such things but talking media heads aren't.

I think we can all agree that congregating in the city on foot is playing right into their hands........and doing it on the weekends....as if the bloody pollies are going to be sitting in parliament....they're not doing it now on weekdays!

I appreciate your sentiment.
But I think Politicians are irrelevant now.
Far better, as you say, to protest outside pravda-msm.
And HO of their Stazi offices.
And Public Health buildings.
And old folks homes.
