For the love of god, (am I still allowed to say that?), how have we become so glued to the idea that we could not survive without trading with China?
I would argue that we cannot survive trading with it, as we , the big kangaroo dogs of the US are finding out.
As I have said in a previous thread regarding China, is that you do not, and should not, trade with criminals.
That cheap watch you bought that you knew was stolen, will cost you and your fellow man more in the long run and more than you might realise.
Now we are seeing the cost.
The loss of our freedoms, and indeed our entire country is on the cards, if not already happened, just without the formal announcement.
No cheap TV is worth it.
Because in reality, it's not cheap at all.
So lets take what we have and what China has, and contemplate who has the upper hand.
But let's do it from a scenario where our traitorous politicians have been lined up against the wall and................, all of them.
(not suggesting violence, just a hypothetical, as I'm sure they'd work out a way of sneaking Aldi bags into prison and influence from a jail cell!)so , let's pretend we have a government with Australia's wealth, health and security as it's first and only reason for existence.
And it stuck to the constitution.
Would we still need to trade with China?
Of course not.In a short time, we would actually cause Chinese citizenry to rid itself of it's communist slave masters no matter how their culture loves being dominated.
About half their population would not tolerate going back to the way the other half are still living.
With our desired pretendy poo government in place, they would immediately opt out of Paris agreement and in utter disgust rip up all the green and red tape (blue tape) that strangles our businesses and sees not a dam or new power station built in decades, indeed sees them blown up instead.
It frees up business, that is all.
This is really all we need to fight back and win.
We have all the resources to become a super power.
We have all the technology and innovation to cement it
We have enough food to feed ourselves and much much more.
The western world must put a stop to the UN supported rise of communism, and in doing so we will find the REAL costs of production are much less than dealing with China in the way we are today.
So do China need our exports more than we need the shit they make with them?
