The very first rule of guerilla resistance is to break into separate cells with limited or no contact with each other. That way, if one cell is infiltrated and arrested, the details of other cells cannot be obtained, regardless of the interrogation methods utilised.
This video is asking for the exact opposite - a centralised database - of people who may be less than happy with current developments, and likely to become involved at some level of resistance, even down to peaceful protests. Further, it is allegedly coming from a member of the AFP, who are better known these days to be working hand in glove with ASIO to identify all the "right wing extremists" apparently trying to destroy the country, even when Muslims are blowing up things.
I don't think it's a fake. I think it is something far more sinister than that. But I will let others make up their own minds. After all, I'm only a "silly old fool conspiracy theorist at death's door" who only got involved here recently.

I'm inclining towards fake. I think they've got the sound right, as though recorded down a funnel or similar but there's no indication of other people talking, moving, shuffling papers and so on. But having heard a small number of police briefings in my time the phraseology and such is spot on, something I don't think could be scripted. Hoping. I can't see Vicpol arresting Dandrews in any circumstances. And the legal system is too good for them.

Wed am. While I'm not in Syd you wake up to hear the news about the 4 weeks and you just hope it's true. Just arrest them all. Or let there be natural justice.
