Word circulating quietly in the background of the net is that China is about to impose a range of export embargoes on Australia in retaliation for the cancellation of the OBOR Agreement with Victoria. Of principle concern amongst these are medicines, and the precursors to make certain medications. Australia sources a great deal of of these products from China.
Sourcing alternative supplies of these products might take suppliers a while, so if you are reliant on some drugs now might be a good time to ensure you are well stocked with stuff you know you are going to need.
Don't expect any quick action from the government - it's not as though it's anything important - like a football match.

Don't know about that, my blood pressure an heart meds are all made in the EU never had a brand made in China or India. Depends what you are on I suppose.

I think it a valid concern @memoryvault And, whilst not medicine as such, there are a range of agricultural inputs chemicals that are also at risk. |
