Re: Resources debate, Letters, 08/07
The Editor The Cairns Post
I can see why “JKT” needed to remain anonymous, with his/her highly misleading hit piece on coal, (Letters, 08/07).
But I understood the Cairns Post wasn’t publishing anonymous letters anymore. Why was that rule changed for an ignorant anti-coal activist?

Re: Viv, Texts, 08/07
The Editor The Cairns PostLike many voters, “Viv” of Earlville doesn’t understand the role of federal senators, (Texts, 08/07). They’re not there to conform to their party’s policies; they’re there to represent the best interests of their state. Both wings of the Labor-Liberal UNiparty have worked hard to airbrush that fact from history. That Labor ever thought a 27yo from a foreign culture was capable of representing the interests of Western Australia shows the contempt the UNiparty has for its voters.

In fact, if you are a member of a political party standing for the Senate you should be made to swear allegiance to the people of that State and any vote you make that is against the interests of your State should be immediate grounds for dismissal and either a new election called or the second placeholder in that election appointed in your place.
No appointments to The Senate be made by State Premiers.

Re: Crisafulli’s bombshell $175m youth crime pledge
The Editor The Cairns Post
“Harsh penalties are reactionary and they don’t address the underlying causes, motivations and contributors of crime,” Dr Reich said, (Crisafulli’s bombshell $175m youth crime pledge, 08/07).
The disconnect between highly-credentialed “experts” and reality widens by the day.
Politicians listening to “experts” hypothesising about “causes” and “motivations” gave us the youth crime wave.
To end the youth crime wave, there needs to be consequences for crime that outweigh the motivations.
Neither branch of the ALP-LNP UNiparty will ignore the “experts” and impose those consequences.
All society’s worst problems can be traced directly to UNiparty policies, which is why we need to get them out of our parliaments.

Re: Nukes to be forced on states
The Editor The Cairns Post
I’d be interested to hear David Littleproud say exactly which “federal powers” he intends to use in telling the states which electricity generators they must use, (Nukes to be forced on states, 08/07).
The powers of the federal government are listed in Section 51 of the Constitution, and it’s silent on electricity generation.
While nuclear is infinitely more reliable and much cheaper than wind and solar, its long-term safety relies on the continuation of an advanced civil society.
Unless we can get the Labor-Liberal UNiparty out of our parliaments we won’t have an advanced civil society for much longer – which makes nukes a real risk.
That’s why I’d prefer we returned to full coal – it’s all-natural, super-cheap, ever-reliable, mega-abundant, and the products of its combustion are food and water for plants.
Walk away from a coal-fired generator and it just goes out.
And if “carbon” could “trap heat” as activist “experts” still claim, Cairns would’ve been underwater each high tide twenty years ago.
The UNiparty feeds us endless bullshit – aren’t you sick of it yet?

An excellent summary Peter.
I wonder how the 'Commonwealth of Australia' has forced environmentally destructive windmills, solar bricks and 'gold plated' transmission lines on The States?
Read Robert Bryce's article Google’s Net Zero Plans Are Going Up In Smoke to get an understanding of how the science deniers at Google, Amazon and Microsoft are turning to nuclear and coal fired power and realising that the UN-scientific Net Zero means NO power.
and check Tucker Carlson's video asking "How does a country with the world's largest deposits of thermal coal have such expensive ENERGY?"

Re: Platforms sending gamers into a fast descent to online depravity
The Editor The Cairns Post
There’s a lot of hysteria being whipped up by left-wing media and bureaucratic activists such as the eSafety Karen, but “right-wing extremists” must be about the rarest species on the planet, (Platforms sending gamers into a fast descent to online depravity, 08/07).
We can be sure its baseless hysteria intended to serve a dark far-left political purpose because of the two characters cited in the article.
George Floyd wasn’t a saint killed by police; he was a career criminal who died of a drug overdose while resisting arrest.
Mosque shooter Brenton Tarrant wasn’t a right-wing extremist; his manifesto showed he was a far-left global warming activist – which is why it had to be suppressed.
I’m surprised the writer didn’t reference Adolf Hitler as a right-wing extremist; he was a National-Socialist and was only to the right of Joseph Stalin.
Which side of politics represents the greatest threat to its own domestic population? That’d be the extreme-left, which spawned Stalin, Hitler, Mao Zedong, and Pol Pot.
Of course, if the eSafety Karen had her way you’d only ever hear the far-left’s version of history.
And that poses an extreme health risk to you and your family.

Re: Croc trophies off shelf
The Editor The Cairns Post
The ALP-LNP UNiparty will fight any and all sensible proposals to manage the crocodile plague, (Croc trophies off shelf, 08/07).
That’s because they’re not working for you and they don’t care if a croc snatches your child from a beach or creekbank.
They’re working for the UN-WEF globalists who want 30 percent of the landmass of every country emptied of humans by 2030.
Anything that drives people out of the regions and into the major cities helps that agenda.
That’s just one more reason we need to get the UNiparty out of our parliaments.

Re: Shelters ‘overwhelmed’
The Editor The Cairns Post
"Australia’s homelessness services are ‘overwhelmed’ and ‘overrun’ as organisations are forced to turn away hundreds of vulnerable Australians needing help this winter," (Shelters ‘overwhelmed’, 08/07).
With state and federal elections looming, it’s vital that we all keep in mind that the Labor and Liberal parties created the homelessness epidemic.
Every factor that feeds into it, from excessive immigration and expensive energy to development restrictions and high building costs, is the direct result of federal and state Labor and Liberal policies.
To solve homelessness we must start by eliminating the Labor and Liberal parties.

Re: US radio host fed ‘talking points’
The Editor The Cairns Post
“Biden stumbled repeatedly during his interview with Lawful-Sanders – bizarrely claiming that he was proud to be ‘the first black woman to serve with a black president’,” (US radio host fed ‘talking points’, 08/07).
Far-left legacy media has been assiduously hiding Biden’s dementia since 2019, even calling those of us who knew about it “conspiracy theorists”.
Yet here they are, now openly talking about it - as if they never insulted people who refused to participate in left-wing lies.
What changed? Why is Biden being thrown under the Democrat’s bus? Because of the June 27 debate.
Biden’s performance was so disastrous that Democrats finally realised they can’t “beat” Trump with election fraud with any semblance of credibility, as they did in 2020.
Will Democrat voters realise their side’s media lied to them on an epic scale? Will they wonder who’s been running America for nearly four years?
Don’t hold your breath, if they were smart they wouldn’t vote Democrat.
