As this coup d'etat comes up to it's ten month anniversary of global emergency powers grabbed by socialists , never to redacted, we see the short memories of many on the right, combined with their lack of political integrity, being constantly bombarded by falsehoods from the left, and the effect is pulling these partial right wingers into fighting after they have already seceded the firm ground of right wing strong and righteous values, thereby getting bogged down in the details constantly put forth as diversionary and confusive tactics by the left.
It has ever been thus it seems, but it is now much more pronounced.
Case in point, Vaccinations compulsory to be permitted to do anything.
We find people on the right actually arguing about what the benefits of this tyranny would be or not, and not the fact that the whole situation is digital tyranny writ large and oppose the lack of democracy and choice on the matter. Of government accountability in the decision process.
If standing on solid right wing ground they would be outraged that they have no choice in it, not whether they agree with the tyranny's viability..
It's tyranny because whether you approve or not is irrelevant, because no one gets to vote on this, No one gets a say in this.
This is government by gun and your say is irrelevant no matter what the subject, and moving away from all your efforts being put into to taking this all back to where it needs to go is to basically concede defeat. A position of compromise is submission, and is taken as such by the left.
The classic case is what I would now call the Notafan syndrome, where a commenter on Catallaxy files who wrongly thinks she is right wing, openly accepted stage two lock downs as reasonable and didn't like it when it got raised.
