Following on from the comments regarding the gobsmacking idiocy and arrogance of Australians who look down their noses at the US voting systems and other cultural difference that many Americans do not share with most Australians, like a love of their country, and believing in freedom and that their government should always be kept in line by the people, not the reverse, hence their strong opposition to having their guns taken, etc etc etc, can those smug buggers so enamored with the Australian system let us know what computer system was used on the recent Queensland election and where it was from and who operated it?

With the "thugocracy" of Australia's so called Public Service there really is no need for the election farce.
We would be far better represented by selecting Councilors and Politicians out of The Phone Book by randomly throwing darts.

There is no better way of showing the cultural differences between the yanks and Australians than with the voting systems being examined, or not..
The confident, free speech USA with concerned citizens will expose their dirty laundry to shine a light on it.
Australians don't want to know.
Ignorance is bliss, as they say.
We'll never know if our system has been corrupted (anymore than what they do legally) and we prefer it that way.
A national sickness.
