RE: Gap is now a great divide
The Editor The Sunday Mail
Few of us have spent time on remote aboriginal communities, but those of us who have know they’re run as socialist enclaves.
The locals own nothing and they aren’t happy – which is the crux of the gap, (Gap is now a great divide, 26/08).
Australians spend $38 billion pa, over $100 million per day, on indigenous people and 40% of the land mass has been signed over to them, but the gap remains.
From census figures, the indigenous population grew 20.5% between 2006 and 2011, 18.4% between 2011 and 2016, and 25.2% between 2016 and 2021, yet the fastest-growing demographic is still experiencing this gap.
How can politicians not see that these discrepancies are why we don’t trust them to tamper with the Constitution, which is the contract between Australians and the government?
Leave the Constitution alone, audit the spending, and get rid of the socialism and the gap will become self-closing.

To comment on “Removing a leader is no simple operation”, 27/08 -
The reason Labor’s rules make it so difficult to remove an underperforming leader are more sinister than most could imagine, (“Removing a leader is no simple operation”, 27/08). Consider the parable of the “post turtle”, the turtle a farmer found balanced on a fence post. It didn’t get there by itself, doesn’t know what to do, can’t accomplish anything, and you have to wonder which idiot put it there.
If we see Premier Palaszczuk as that post turtle, the question becomes who put her there? Is Labor so desperately short of talent that she was the best possible choice? The law of averages makes that unlikely. It’s more likely she was the pick of the wealthy faceless donors who pull Labor’s strings. They’d obviously prefer Queensland was dictated to by a hapless puppet who was sure to do as she was told for fear of being injured falling off the fence post.

To comment on “Electric vehicles are on a charge”, 27/08 -
Cognitive dissonance is the mental anguish a person experiences when they believe in two things which contradict each other. The left interpret that anguish as the feeling that comes with being smarter than others. That’s why they can simultaneously believe that EVs are the future of transport and that eliminating the baseload generators from the power grid is vital for the future, (“Electric vehicles are on a charge”, 27/08).
Put simply, they believe unreliable electricity generators can reliably power more high-draw devices than the current baseload power stations can – because they’re smart. News flash, lefties: in the absence of affordable, reliable, abundant electricity, your expensive electric car quickly becomes a stranded asset.

To comment on “Fury after meta blocks wildfire updates”, 27/08 -
It’d be easy to presume that the law of unintended consequences has struck in the case of Canadians being deprived of important wildfire news by a corporate response to a government decision, (“Fury after meta blocks wildfire updates”, 27/08), but it’s far more sinister than that. In every Western nation we’re seeing a recurring pattern of corporations and governments marching in lockstep together, which Mussolini described as fascism.
That same supranational corporate-government alliance, through their public mouthpieces at the World Economic Forum, have told us they want us all living in pods in high rise towers in 15-minute cities where we’ll eat bugs, own nothing, and be happy. How better to force unruly rural folk into 15-minute cities than to suppress the news feeds which might help them defend their homes against the wildfires that were started by arsonists in a suspiciously coordinated manner?
That’s also why the pre-programming of “a severe bushfire season” has started here after authorities spent three wet years building up the fuel loads to extraordinarily dangerous levels.
