The International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health has published a study that found the lockdowns were 20 times more deadly than COVID. I hope they do vaccine side effects next. Chloe, Kuranda
I don't know who Michael Maguire is or why he has a column in the paper (24/8) but it's easy to see he's a card-carrying far-leftist by the epic projection in his words. He's blaming conservatives for everything the left is actually doing. Mr Obvious, Earlville
Medical journal 'The Lancet' has reported that the covid vaccinations that people were coerced into by governments and corporations without full "informed consent" are destroying T-cells and wreaking havoc on natural immune systems. The lawsuits from the overreaction to covid will fill the courts for years. Paramedic, Cairns
Those who think there is actually a "transition away from fossil fuels" (CP, 24/8) haven't done their due diligence. After 30 years of development and investment, wind and solar now account for about 3% of total human energy use. Pom, Whitfield
A week out from spring, "snow and black ice cuts off Blue Mountains" (24/8). Yup, definitely global warming. Jen, Edge Hill
Tourism is already reeling from the twin blows of covid alarmism and dead-reef climate fearmongering. If Mayor Manning wants to kill it completely all he needs to do is make it less competitive and less profitable with a new tax. One Tooth Wally, Cairns North
JB, Palm Cove, (24/8). Your comment is redundant as action has been taken to ensure Double Island lease conditions are met. If you reckon you can do better you can make an offer to buy the present owner out and get stuck in, mate. Oliver, Palm Cove
Specialist laboratories in two countries have found uranium, ceasium, cobalt, arsenic, aluminum, titanium, vanadium and a heap more metals in all brands of a new product that many people were coerced into having injected into their bodies, and it's causing serious health problems. Yet this information is censored by major corporations around the world. Why would corporations want to kill masses of people and thus reduce their customer bases and their profits? Because they're led by cultists who have all the wealth they'll ever need and they'd prefer many of us "useless eaters" ceased to exist. Mark, Redlynch

Conspiracies
-
“Well done” to Stephen Rice and The Australian, (Conspiracy ‘kept away from PM’, 25/8), for confirming what we all knew about conspiracies.
Thank you for confirming there is such a thing - for years we’ve been told conspiracies don’t exist; despite the fact we have a word to describe them.
Thank you for confirming that we have a bureaucratic “deep state” that do what they think is best regardless of what our elected reps might choose to do.
Now, please do the “covid”, “climate change”, and “World Economic Forum New World Order” conspiracies.

To Greg Holmes (CP, 25/08), so what you're saying is that you have no idea what my qualifications are, you have no idea of the latest revelations from the James Webb space telescope, you have no idea that Birkeland Currents are everywhere in the universe, and all that ignorance hurts your feelings. Got you. Juss Sayen, Cairns
Why doesn't Grace Grace (25/8) understand that vaccine mandates are medical coercion and a direct breach of the Nuremberg Code? Curious, Cairns
On one side of the coin, the loony Canadian government is setting up Green Police and preparing for climate lockdowns and the nutso Californian government is planning to ban all petrol and diesel engines. On the other side of the coin, the based Texan government is banning BlackRock, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse for their insane and society-destroying war on energy. But just watch our governments swing with the loonies. Ned, Caravonica
(TB) Steven, Wulguru, TTE, 25/8. Had Labor been in govt during the plandemic they would have done exactly the same. The ALP and LNP are now the UNiparty and they take their orders from the UN/WEF. Polliemuppets are offered "lead or silver". Lead is the threat of sudden death to them or their families. Silver is post-politics rewards for obedience. We had one last chance to vote them all out in May. We failed. Thor, 4810
The latest disturbing development in juvenile car thievery in the US, as reported by the legendary Tucker Carlson on Fox News, is carjacking - sometimes with fatal results. No doubt that phenomenon will be here soon. Keep your car locked and be prepared to fight for your life when you're driving because our politicians have no interest in stopping these young criminals. JS, Edge Hill
The Qld Education Minister justifies forcing teachers into an inadequately tested injection by saying it wasn't as draconian as other states. That's like saying it's OK to beat your wife because your neighbours killed their wives. What a creep. Malcolm, Freshwater
(GCB) TerryS (Texts, 25/08) asks for solid CO2 science and this is as short as I can make it. From first principles... Planck’s Law - CO2 absorbs outgoing longwave infrared radiation (heat) as photons at the 14.8 microns wavelength. Wien’s Displacement Law and Kirchhoff’s Law of Thermal Radiation - the temperature of absorption at 14.8 microns is -80 degrees Celsius. Minus 80 degrees Celsius is 95 degrees lower than average surface temperature and is found in the lower stratosphere, well above the troposphere where we live. Second Law of Thermodynamics - heat doesn’t flow from cold zones to hotter zones. CO2 cannot “trap heat.” It merely delays outgoing infrared photons for a billionth of a second so high up in the atmosphere it’s irrelevant. It releases them at a less energetic frequency, and they continue on to outer space. Henry’s Law - atmospheric CO2 is contingent upon seawater temperature. The hotter equatorial water is, the more CO2 it releases. Cold Arctic and Antarctic waters reabsorb it. Ergo, CO2-warming has always been false. JS
Ouch, Greg Holmes (CP, 25/8) way to show you're behind in science! Not only is Juss Sayen correct, but with earth's magnetosphere weakening so rapidly we're all going to see first hand evidence of Birkeland Currents within a few short years. Already some countries are reporting "new" lightning that has never been noted before. Next will be huge static discharges from the L-rings of the magnetosphere along the equatorial belt. Mark my words. Adrian S, Kuranda
For two years the political left (which includes the LNP) has worshipped the shots. Now in the US the deaths from the shots are becoming impossible to hide and they're flipping to "the shots are deadly and it's all Trump's fault". The shots were developed by the extreme-left globalists who are hell-bent on depopulating the planet. Do not let them rewrite history - they must be held to account. Mark, Redlynch

How has dangerous man-made climate change directly affected you -
Since the 1970s we’ve been warned about humans causing global cooling, global warming, sea level rise, more frequent and severe cyclones, endless droughts, disappearing ice, etcetera, etcetera, ad nauseum.
We’ve seen none of it – only natural cycles we’ve seen throughout history.
So, I have a serious question for our resident climate alarmists.
How has “dangerous man-made climate change” directly affected you in the last 30, 40, 50, or 60 years (depending on your age)? Please be specific and provide as much detail as possible.
I’ll wait…

The solution is easy
-
The push for electric vehicles is doomed to failure as they’re too expensive, too slow to charge, batteries cannot compete with liquid fuels, refining the minerals is too polluting, and we don’t have the generation or distribution capacity to recharge them if everyone had one.
The push for a wind, solar and battery dependent grid is doomed to failure because of wind droughts, night-time and clouds, the non-scalability of batteries, and the complete absence of cost competitiveness.
The push for a 100% covid bioweapon vaccine take-up is doomed to failure because those behind it thought their control of corporate media and governments was enough to control the narrative, but they were unable to prevent the free exchange of expert information via the internet.
The push for the elimination of healthy food, including meat and chemical-free vegetables and grains, is doomed to fail because the alternative being promoted, insects laden with health-damaging chitins, are instinctively disgusting to humans.
These four narratives are coming from the same group; the World Economic Forum and their controlled entities, which include the UN, WHO and UNESCO. They are wealthy Malthusian eugenicists, hell-bent on depopulation. They are literally the Nazis of the 21st century.
But the solution is easy.
To save our civilisation we just need the young parents now working in the corporate media and government agencies to understand that the WEF-Nazis want to kill their children, so they are motivated to expose the extreme criminality being inflicted on us all.
There are billions of us and only hundreds of them. They cannot withstand the bright light they so richly deserve to be placed under.

Evidence deniers deserve to be ignored -
It’s strange that the green-left are so welded to wind and solar, (CP, 27/08), which produce more emissions during the mining, transport, and manufacturing of their components than they ever offset, but are so resistant to genuinely emissions-free nuclear power.
With support from the UK government, Rolls Royce has developed 470 MW small modular reactors that can each power a city of half a million people. They plan to build 16 SMRs in the UK and these are now completing their “generic design assessment”, the last step before the build commences.
Nuclear is a technology that has been proven to produce cheap, plentiful, and reliable electricity. Wind and solar have been proven to be unable to do so. All attempts to transition to wind and solar have failed. To try to do so here is to plan to fail.
The green-left’s frequent and fervent assertions that wind and solar will not only yield cheap and reliable electricity but also prevent droughts, floods, cyclones, and bushfires point to a refusal to adequately assess facts and evidence. Evidence deniers deserve to be ignored.

Re: California goes green, 27/8 -
California’s push for electric vehicles is doomed to failure as they’re too expensive, too slow to charge, batteries cannot compete with liquid fuels, refining the minerals is too polluting, and they don’t have the generation or distribution capacity to recharge them if everyone had one.
All these laws will achieve is to drive rational people out of the state, leaving only reality-denying Democrats and illegal gimmegrants behind.
The complete and total collapse of the Californian economy is now assured.

When will the "useful idiots" of the wealthy, cruel and inhumane extreme left oligarchs finally understand that all so-called "green" policies punish the poor and reward the rich? Curious, Cairns
Notice we've never been asked to vote on the globalists' Great Reset? That's because the intention of their Fourth Industrial Revolution is to impose their will over ours. Democracy is dead in their opinion. Their system is feudalism where they are the lords and we are the slaves. Juss Sayen, Cairns
(GCB) - The funny thing is, Science Believer, even with the number of windmills and solar panels it is alleged to have, China is suffering power shortages due to hot weather. So even being "ranked number one in the world" China can't get cheap and reliable power from wind and solar. Hilarious! Reality Believer
The Greens' insane policies are what is driving inflation, but now they want a rent freeze (CP, 27/8). That will result in landlords selling rental stock to owner occupiers and make it even harder for renters. "You will live in the pod, peasant." Michelle, Stratford
In October 2019 the average UK household paid £1,179 per year in energy bills. Thanks to the UK government's pursuit of "Net Zero", those same households are now paying £3,000 per year. By April next year that will rise to £6,600 per year. "Net Zero" policies won't change the weather but they will collapse national economies, so who are these politicians really working for? Brett, Georgetown
(GCB) - When someone says they "believe in science" or they "follow the science" you can be sure they don't have a clue whether the "science" is accurate or not, but that they have substituted sciencey-sounding dogma for a religion with morals and ethics. JS
The trouble with lefties is that they persistently believe things that just aren't true. No country anywhere has either reduced emissions or got cheap reliable power from wind and solar. Not one. But our dopey politicians are going to repeat that mistake. While being stupid should result in pain, it's not fair when those who feel that pain the most are the poor and the elderly. One Tooth Wally, Cairns North
It wasn't that long ago that adding an aftermarket LPG tank to a petrol engine car to make it "dual fuel" was promoted by the left. Now the wreckers won't take a car with one as they're "too hard to recycle" (CP, 27/8). Funny how all these leftist schemes have unintended consequences that impact poor people the most. It's such a shame that our government health agencies have been so perverted that we have no way of knowing whether our unusually high excess death rate is due to delayed diagnoses from lockdowns, bacterial and fungal infections from masks, or from vaccine side effects. Chloe, Kuranda
It is time for politicians to be held criminally accountable for obviously stupid decisions, the ones made based on feelings and dogma instead of facts and evidence. That would instantaneously change the climate from "net zero" to "let’s build a couple of nuclear power stations very quickly". Juss Sayen, Cairns
Hang on, in 1969 Apollo 11 (allegedly) got to the moon and back in nine days, which included a day on the lunar surface. So why will it take Artemis (CP, 29/8) 42 days? And why does Artemis need test dummies to measure acceleration, vibration and radiation when Apollo 8, 10,11,12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 all (allegedly) visited the moon? If NASA really went to the moon in the '60s and '70s, why doesn't this Artemis mission have vastly superior technology? Curious, Cairns
Australia's covid responses and climate policies have been bad choice piled upon bad choice. The law of averages makes such a run of bad choices statistically impossible. In other words, our so-called "leaders", from both major parties, are doing their utmost to destroy Australia. Did you vote for that deliberately? If not, how do you feel about being lied to? Marie, Atherton
Re Albo and Shaq, if you see skin colour you are racist. The further left you are the more you see skin colour the more racist you are. Cedric, Kuranda
(GCB) No, Judy (29/8) (and Anonymous, too) you don't get to wriggle out of your alarmism by claiming record cold is "just weather". Your side's predictions have been "warming trends" and the "children won't know snow" - and the date for the end of snow was 2015. Just because you devoutly believe something does not make it true. In news so funny you couldn't make it up, the Royal Automobile Club in the UK has explained that the latest electricity price rises make it more expensive to travel in an EV than in a petrol vehicle. How smug are EV owners now? Mechanic, Smithfield
My mates in the US pronounce Cairns as "Karens", which is appropriate given the preponderance of hair-on-fire leftwits in the public commentary space here. n reply to Anne Mauger -
The funny thing about the lack of electricity in China, Anne Mauger (CP, 30/8) is that they are, according to my “green” sources, the world’s leader in renewables.
They allegedly have more wind and solar than any other country – but they still can’t get reliable and abundant power from them.
You’d almost think wind and solar are being pushed on us precisely because they don’t work as claimed – the only thing they’re good for is making the rich richer and the poor poorer.

The gob-smacking error of the CO2-warming narrative
-
In my letter published on Saturday, August 27, I briefly outlined the immutable laws of physics that make global warming from CO2 impossible.
With the forbearance of the editor, I would now like to outline the gob-smacking error that lies at the core of the CO2-warming narrative.
The Earth, as we all know, is a globe that rotates as it orbits the sun. Half of the globe is facing the sun at any time and the other half is facing away. That rotation gives us day and night.
The sun, as we all know, emits a broad spectrum of radiation, which we mostly experience as heat and light. Summer sunlight can be so hot it feels like it has physical weight.
So, as we all know, half the globe is heating in the sun during daylight hours while the other half is cooling during the night.
But that physical reality is absent from the energy balance equations of the alarmists of academia, which includes all the Western world’s universities.
What they perceive as reality will shock you, particularly when you consider the wealth our politicians have squandered and are continuing to squander on this nonsense.
The model Earth the alarmists build their energy balance equations on is a flat disc that receives continual sunlight that yields a surface temperature of minus 40 Celsius.
That’s right, a flat Earth with cold sunlight. The CO2 alarmists are quite literally flat-earthers who appear to have never been outside.
The LNP, ALP, Greens, and Teals recklessly rushing to “decarbonise” Australia are so inexcusably ignorant that they are following cold-sun flat-earth pseudo-science.
The consequences for the people of Australia of the established political parties’ policies are catastrophic and are infinitely worse than the mild warming they claim they want to prevent.

The uber-wealthy globalists who meet in Davos share a satanic belief system which requires them to broadcast their plans for us.
That is why we’re being told we must “Get ready for two pandemics a year”, (30/08).
They have a depopulation agenda, which is why they had to destroy the Georgia Guidestones on which they had engraved “1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.”

Re, Margaret Englebretsen (Letters, 30/8) on political figures "stabbing each other". You've missed a detail Margaret, and it's hiding in plain sight. French President Emmanuel Macron says "the age of abundance is over". It doesn't need to be, but that's what the anti-human globalist cult wants. They want to depopulate "their" planet, which is why they went to great trouble to control our political parties and our vote counting system. Graham, Stratford
Albo's right about one thing - he "hasn't wasted a single day in power". He's wasted about two-thirds of them. Shirley, Malanda
Wait, what? How can a nation of 26 million that is 95% vaccinated have 10 million covid cases (TB, 30/8)? If the vaccine is not effective, and clearly it's not, what are the chances it's not safe either? Marie, Aitkenvale
