I grew up with cats and dogs. Domestic cats, a pet dog and a pig dog. The pig dog specifically trained to hunt wild pigs, while we wielded rifles. We were taught to use weapons at a young age. Kill what you choose to eat yourself. Use most parts of the animal to nourish yourself.

I so identify with Struth's commentary about human food!
I used to do the killing and butchering of sheep on the farm.
