Once upon a time certain parts of, places in Australia used to teach the concept of Leadership.
It had nothing to do with 'gung-ho' bravery nor being the toughest.
It was about absorbing information as rapidly as possible and making a decision.
Nothing to do with a right or a wrong decision but to decide.
After all, subsequent events will prove the worth of any decision.
A wrong decision can be reversed.
A right decision needs no correction.
The only "bad" decision is no decision at all.

So not this then? 1.bp.blogspot.com/-cH2i2j7hsP8/YVQ0M6mCMwI/AAAAAAAAXJo/fwss1uejjIAUuGCo6952SMQfi4mFSam1gCLcBGAsYHQ/s1088/108921D3-CB19-403A-8E49-DFFE72458E09.pngI'm gonna take a stab at this, you've never worked in the public service. Committees everywhere, sensible people avoid them like the plague so you get the non-jobbers all keen to have input and then a mishmash of all the bad ideas everyone can ever think of. Politicans know this and use them to meet a political agenda, this "zero Covid". An absolute non-starter but give it to a committee and they come up with, well, you're living through it. Try to reverse any of these decisions - another committee to "review and recommend". And the circle is complete. Haven't seen to many parties seeking to address the problem though Campbell Newman had a crack. Look what happened.

Yep, general anonimity is best. We all know ASIO are spying on us and if we know stuff about each other they'll take it as a network. Most of ASIO these days is nerdy, characterless uni grads with computer skills. It pays to recruit Asperger types as they don't get the human connection. Most of them couldn't boil an egg. I see Woolies in Melb has closed so they can't go there to buy the eggs they can't boil. Have to live on soy lattes and kale. Next Bond film will be The Spies Who Liked Me But Weren't Brave Enough To Ask Me Out.
